BEWARE!!! This company opened up a FRAUDULENT account based off of someone calling in and using 'their god father's' name and social security number!! They TOLD Petro they were opening an account in their god fathers name! You would think Petro would call the 'god father' to confirm it was okay to open an account in his name with his personal information, right? Nope- they did not confirm ANYTHING with the 'god father.' When we, the alleged god father, found this out a few months ago we let Petro that this was fraudulent activity- they opened an 'incident' and said they would take care of it. A few months go by with NO contact whatsoever from Petro and we now have a collections hit to our credit for over $2,000. We do not even live in a state where Petro is offered! Petro does NOT do their due diligence when opening new accounts. How were there no red flags when hearing a 'god father' gave permission to open an account? UNBELIEVABLE!!! If I could give no stars, I would.

I had the Petro man come out to check the water coming out of my
ac. I had been told by another company that I could repair it for 3,000 but
since it was old (purchased in 1997) that I should replace it at a cost of
13,000.
My Petro man blew out the clogged ac pipe and the water stopped
coming out onto my basement floor. Cost was 200 for a service call.
Problem was solved at a little cost. Thank you Petro

Be aware of price gouging. I was on automatic delivery for home heating oil and they raised the price nearly a $1 per gallon over will call pricing. Once I alerted them I was told automatic delivery is always more expensive. This is not true for reputable heating oil businesses. Also never trust a business that doesn't show the gallons delivered on their invoices.

A month ago we Ran out of fuel after being on an auto delivery.
We are out of fuel again.. no auto delivery??

The agent that came to replace my thermo-stat was wonderful he new exactly what to do. He eve showed up earlier than stated. I was very pleased.

Worst customer service! They set their appointments ina "you have to wait from 8 am-5pm (no a 8-1 or 1-5 but rather all day to see when they could come) over that they show up a first time just take info and leave. Second appointment is set up for another 8-5 slot. Guy come after few arguments. This technician wasn't able to find how to shut the gas off so he asked us to call eversource to shut the gas off for him and he will come back after that. But he left the house and left all the top/front screws uninstalled because he felt lazy to put them back in with a just because: "he would need to take them out again next time he come back" (lazy servicers)
This part he left unscrewed just felt off and hit my fiancée feet while she was dusting it (and almost fit my 14 month old son in his head). Now it is beneded and it scratched my floor too.. lots of cables are exposed and I am affraid gas might be leaking inside my house and after trying to contact them (this company) about it they just said I have to wait until Thursday because it is the first thing "they have available" to send a technician there (today is Monday)... so, lazy job, bad customer service and lack of attending their own mediocre service that could become in an emergency.
I have a 8 year old daughter and a 14 month old Son at home, a big snow storm coming to town tomorrow and I don't have a stove to cook for them because of this company bad service and lazy technicians...

The technicians for an air conditioning tune up were outstanding. However it took over six weeks to schedule the appointment which went well into the air conditioning season.

They came as scheduled on an emergency call on a holiday. Fortunately they were able to fix it and get m;y house cozy again, because I was leaving town in two days and the temperature was heading to th now 20s. Thanks!

The technician that came to our house to service our old furnace was AMAZING. Thorough, friendly (even likes the dog) and our furnace now purrs liek a kitten when it used to whine like a dog. Great job petro! (Wish I remembered his name)!

Great service. For example arrived home the other night at 9pm to no heat, called for service and they where here in two hours and this was not the only time I called for service, we've been with them for over 20 years and have never been disappointed.
