Tri City Heating and Cooling

I never write reviews, but I figured I will do it this one time since I have such a great experience with this company from initial contact till final installation. The sales agent ended up being the actual owner of the company, which he great to work with. He informed me of all the options I had, and what he thought was best for my current situation. He was extremely professional and courteous. and went above, and beyond by helping me, fill out all the applications and forms that needed to be submitted in order for this to happen. From start to finish he was very transparent, which I can appreciate a lot after all of this was done. He made sure to follow up with me at least twice a week until a appointment for install was initiated after that I was transferred to a lady call Marissa if I am not mistaken she is assistant manager to installs, she was a pleasure to speak with was very informed and help me through setting up installation dates availability and also payment options. On the day of install, the mechanics showed on time were also very polite and courteous. They started work right away the lead tech Alex. Made a complete walk-through of the home to make sure nothing has changed. He was extremely detail, oriented and professional. He will take his time with every little thing. I am myself being a trades man followed him around for a little bit just to see the quality of work he was doing, and I will have to say this guy takes extreme pride in his work. He is a perfectionist! he considers best place for functionality, and also the aesthetics into account ,all the detail and crucial part of the installation, he took on himself with perfection.I was also impressed with the synergy his team had …a apprentice by the name of Daniel, was Ahead of the game everytime the lead tech would move to another position everything was already prepare for him he had great work ethic, and was extremely energetic. While all of this was happening inside, there was also a team of two outside working nonstop to get the job done. My home is made out of brick, and they were very careful with drilling and preparing the outside equipment to be connected to the inside.
Easton was the apprentice that took charge in the outside He also had a knack for paying attention to detail, and making sure that his job was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. not to make this review too long, everything turned out to be perfect all the systems work flawlessly . And I would definitely recommend this company to everyone. Oh, and I forgot to mention there customer Service reps are also very polite and courteous especially a rep by the name of chrystalene.

***updating this review. Impossible to get a straight answer unless you speak with a manager, and even then, after it seemed as though I MIGHT get my issue resolved, it didn't. I have an old unit. It needs work. We're willing to pay to fix it to keep it working. But when a BRAND NEW pump TRI-CITY installed is faulty and causes damage to my home, and I don't hear from them for 2 weeks, you question their integrity. It's the busiest time of year for them, and when a small project that's not worth a dime for Tri-City, but could end up ruining the sale of my house if not resolved, occurs, and they don't return emails or calls or fix the situation - you wonder if this is a company that cares about their customers at all.

1st review: Came out once to check/replace a pump for the heating unit. Fast response and on time. Kind and courteous techs. Little pricey for “diagnosis visit” as well as labor and parts. Second visit for Hvac not cooling and upon visit was told it needed a very expensive and a “not guaranteed to work repair or replace entire unit”. Got a second opinion and have a working HVAC for a fraction of the original quote, and a repair that wasn’t even suggested. Dissatisfied. Sales and parts/service departments should work together better.

I called Tri-City on Monday for my
No Heat Dryer & they gave me an appointment for Wed Afternoon. The technician was great, he had the part on the truck which helped with repair turn around.
I’ve been using Tri-City for years. They installed my HVAC system in my old house too which we always got great compliments on.

Our Amana refrigerator was a couple of months warranty when the control box and defrost connector decided to stop working correctly. The tech that came out quickly diagnosed it and said the part would take about one day to come in.

In the meantime, I worked with Amana to get them to cover the cost of repairs and parts. Samantha was great about following up and letting me know that the cost was taken care of, as well as promptly scheduling the follow-up repair.

Marty showed up on time and was incredibly personable. He told me how long the repair would take, and when he was done he went through what was malfunctioning and how it was fixed. He was professional and thorough, which made me feel like I was in great hands.

If you have any appliance repair needs and you own a Whirlpool product, there is no other company to use. I highly recommend!

We had Tri City replace our oil burner furnace and AC system as well as totally replace and re-engineer the duct-work in our attic (3000 sq. ft. home). After some debate we opted to also go with a heat pump and after over year we have NO regrets. We went from ~1200 gallons of oil to a little over 200 this past winter. Sure, electricity isn't free but with oil prices at the time we are definitely coming out ahead. The new oil burner is much quieter than our old system (not even comparable really) but the heat pump is practically silent. Being a somewhat complicated system (all new equipment, two-stage, 3 zones, heat pump, etc.), there were some hiccups but Tri City's owner was adamant about making everything right and he 100% came through on that, even personally coming out on more than one occasion. I have already recommended them to several friends and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Tri city came in to remove the trap I had on my house. These guys that came were great. Worked quick and left everything very clean. I would highly recommend Tri city to anyone and everyone!

Extremely professional, and knowledgeable staff. They arrived so fast and managed to uninstall and install the water heater that was leaking in a timely fashion. Highly recommend Tri City for all your plumbing needs.

Tri City is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. The owner of the company came to my house to give me an estimate, he was polite, professional, answered all of my questions and on point with all information he provided to me. The financing was quick and easy. His entire team was courteous, on time, reliable and amazing to work this. They went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer and got my project done in 2 short weeks. I will be using Tri City on all of my projects moving forward! Thanks so much guys!
