Call the Bee

Tyler was on-time, efficient, courteous, and even called when the job was finished to give me a status report. Follow-up is so important.

I used them for HVAC work before, so I decided to call them for some plumbing work that I needed done quickly at a rental property. They were able to do the job a couple days after calling them, but their prices are absurd. For example, I was charged $425 to reset a toilet (replacing the $5 wax ring), while also quoting me $300 to snake a drain - which I declined. They also charge you $85+ just to come out to your house. The cost of the entire job was likely 2 or 3 times higher using them vs. another company.

I would not recommend them.

I am only giving 3 stars as I am so disappointed with the furnace/boiler that Busy Bee installed. I have owned my home for over 5 years and never once had a gas or rotten egg smell; even though my old furnace/boiler was so outdated parts are no longer available for it. I decided to take advantage of CT's energy program while interest rates were good and invest in a high efficiency boiler. Since it has been installed I can no longer sit on my front porch or even walk around my home as it constantly smells of rotten eggs. It was never mentioned when I spoke to the sales rep. that this may be a side effect of this product as they do not exhaust it through the existing chimney. They bore two holes just above the fieldstone foundation for exhaust and intake pipes. The white plastic pipes come up about 4' in the front of the house -very visible-. I was told by a tech that had to return after I complained of strong odors that I could pay a substantial more for them to make the pipes go higher or just live with the smell. The sales rep, the install techs, were all very professional and the boiler appears to run efficiently otherwise; although it better when costing over $12K. If I had been advised in advance of this side affect; I personally would have looked at other boilers. I cannot in clear conscience recommend this product based on how it has impacted my home. VERY UPSET.

Always professional, reliable, thorough, and fairly priced. If I could use Busy Bee for anything and everything home related I 100% would!

Busy Bee/Joe helped us about a year ago when we wanted to update/improve our current air handler, and again came out within an hour today when our condenser unit failed. I have two little ones and was so thankful Joe was able to come and diagnose and fix our problem so quickly. He patiently explained the issues and possible solutions, despite the impromptu call. I don’t have enough nice things to say about Joe and Busy Bee - it’s a rare thing these days for a business to put their customers first, unfortunately, but Busy Bee definitely goes above and beyond!

The job (plumbing) is yet to be done, but our experience with the consultant/estimator James was delightful. When is the last time you could - if ever - say that about a service professional? He took extra time (and happily!) to explain everything, offering his keen and experienced insight for every detail. Absolutely refreshing in this day and age! If the crew who does the job is at all like James, I can rest assured that everything will be done expertly, thoroughly, cleanly, and with precision. Meanwhile, I can put my feet up and relax! Great people..5 room ductless Ac with heat pump.......very personal...hvac guy's 7 month and no problem so far...works great...

I asked for an estimate on a waterline to fridge and a potential need for a new mixing valve for my boiler.
Dave looked it over and assessed what needed to be done. I am pretty sure I will use this company for my services. I will provide an update on work done in the future.

This is an amazing company. They really do it all. The technicians are very knowledgeable about the products and services they provide. We have had the pleasure of using them for our new heat pump and on demand hot water system. They coordinate everything on their end, keeping us informed without overwhelming you with details. A situation that could be stressful instead feels like your having a friend over to help. Thank you Busy Bee!

David levesque is very respectful. I highly recommend him for all your hvac needs. He’s very understanding an compassionate. If you want a stand up guy and someone who is honest an respectful I highly recommend David. He has many years in the field and I couldn’t recommend a more considerate person who will go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of!!
