Busy Bee staff (Brian gave us the quote) (James and another young man installed the high efficiency furnace and water heater). The customer service, experience and quality of work they provided was beyond exceptional.
(I am highly sensitive to smells) and about two months in when it was getting cold I sensed a smell coming from the vent ducts and so I called to see if it was anything to be concerned about. They sent James out to check everything out. I appreciated James’ tenacity when it came to figuring out the problem. I genuinely had the feeling he was not leaving until he had a solution figured out. He taped additional areas just to be thorough and cover all of his bases.
It’s a rare technician to take such care and to ask as many questions as he did to try and resolve the issue. Needless to say I was extremely impressed with his/their professionalism, workmanship and time spent. Well done!!

James is very professional & very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what he was doing. This company is very lucky to have him on their team.

The heat was not working in my home, so I called to have someone come take a look at it. A fee of 95 dollars after tax was charged to my credit card. When the man arrived he very quickly told me I would need a new unit, did not explain what was wrong or why it wasn't fixable, just very quickly started writing up an estimate for 14,000 dollars for a new boiler and he started to attempt to procure information to run a credit check for financing which I rejected, pointing out that it would be foolish for me not to get at least another opinion bfore agreeing to pay that kind of money. He gave me his cell phone number in case I had questions, so after he left, noticing that the estimate was not very detailed, I texted him asking questions about it. His response was that he couldn't answer those questions, I was making him uncomfortable, and that he had given me the number for financing questions. So the next day I called Busy Bee and asked for his license number, because I had a strong suspicion he was a salesman and not a licensed HVAC technician because licensed people are not usually so versed in financing, and I was correct, he was not a licensed HVAC technician. I asked for my money back because I didn't pay 95 dollars to get a sales pitch I expected someone to show up and diagnose my problem, and they gave it back. It is unbelievably shady and dishonest to send a sales person to a home that has lost its heat in the middle of winter, this man had no qualification to determine if my unit was repairable (it was repairable by the way as confirmed by the next person who showed up, $300 repair) and a sales person is NEVER going to do anything but try to sell you something, it is an egregious conflict of interest, and they misled me that they were sending someone qualified to diagnose the issue and repair my unit. The final thing you need to know is that the lovely gentleman who came subsequently told me a new unit installed should come in at about 8500 dollars, which is significantly less than the 14,000 dollar figure that Busy Bee came up with. To summarize, this business is dishonest, they seek to take advantage of people in dire circumstances, and on top of all that they are outrageously over priced.

My experience with all of the technician at Busy Bee has been great!! Joey has always been knowledgeable about the project and repairs quickly.

Tyler was very personable and knowledgeable of the request. Explained my issue in simple terms and suggested a recommendation. If I have any other issues I would specifically request for him.
