Kyle came during the window advertised, got right to work, did what he said he would do with regard to general maintenance, and communicated clearly issues that need to be addressed.

Louis also came during his window, identified and corrected the problem with our plumbing same day. Plus, he was super friendly!!!

Ross was very helpful, kind and responsive. He explained all of the repair options to me in a way that was easy to understand. I will continue to utilize this company for future questions/repairs!

We want to give a shout out to Ultimate heating & cooling. They recently installed a new heater and air conditioner and we couldn’t be more please. They were fast, efficient and their pricing was more than competitive. If you’re in need of some heat or air reach out to them!

When my furnace went out during a cold spell, Josh and Ultimate Heating and Cooling did a great job of repairing my furnace quickly and for a fair price. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly and as efficiently as possible. Will definitely be using them again.

When our technician arrived he was very intuitive, an interactive with our needs. He had answered any questions we had regarding maintaining and maintenance with the furnace, would recommend for good and honest work.

I will never call Ultimate Heating a Cooling again. Tried to sell me a new furnace when all it needed was a cleaning and $9 part.

I called them for a noisy fan that was cycling on and off and not keeping the house warm.

It started off with a red flag by them asking for my credit card before they would schedule and appointment. They said they charge $55 for a service call and $45 for the first hour to diagnose (which they never actually did). So, $100 before they do anything. Now normally this would be a deal breaker, but I was in a hurry and I ignored my instinct. This serves as a good reminder that any company that charges you before they do anything clearly values revenue over service and views you as a transaction not a relationship. Either that or they know their price is not competitive, so they try to get you “pot committed” before you get your quote.

Before the technician even called me to discuss his findings, he had sent me an estimate for full furnace replacement. From the second I took the call the “technician” was clearly in sales mode telling me how dire the situation. There was not even a discussion of repair, just replacement. Everything was made to seem very dramatic and urgent with zero talk about what are ultimately fairly simple repairs. He went so far as to say the unit was dirty and dangerous. I asked if the heat exchange was bad (a truly dangerous situation)– to which I receive and awkward “no, but it definitely has stress fractures.” Interesting…

Then there was their estimate. It immediately struck me as a pad job that include many unnecessary charges and replacements such as: a new thermostat (to replace a relatively new and fully functional smart thermostat), a new flex connector (replaced less than 18 months ago with a new coil), a charge to “seal all return drops and Plenums” – (anything visible is already sealed with foil tape so not sure what they planned there), double wall flue venting (I guess he planned on replacing the existing flue – not sure why) and a “electrical service charge” (no idea what this was for - like all furnaces, there is a fuse and switch box at the furnace and it has a breaker at the panel, so I am not sure what the electrical service charge would be for). At worst this is dishonest, at best a statement of scope but it mostly struck me an attempt to show value when there is little to be had.

I received another quote. There was no charge to have him come out and look at the furnace, and he looked at it and said, it is old but working and definitely not dangerous. All it needed was to clean the flame sensor and a new capacitor on the motor. He cleaned the flame sensor for me for free. He didn’t have a capacitor the correct size but that is something I can fix. At my request, he provided a quote for replacement, and it was 22% less than Ultimate’s.

Needless to say, I cannot recommend Ultimate Heating and Cooling, and will not be calling them for future work.

Will H. and Josh replaced a hot water tank. Work was impeccable. Timely, clean and professional. Very communicative about the best solution and implementation. Courteous and friendly. Can’t praise them and Ultimate’s service enough.

We were very impressed with how quickly they came out on a call regarding our furnace that was needing replacement. Same day inspection and next day replacement. We were able to track their location as they drove to our home. Kind, courteous and respectful of our home. We recommend and will use them again.

Ultimate was great from start to finish. They were referred to me by two different friends who had used them in the past. The scheduling was fast and easy and diagnostic fee was reasonable. Ross came out to check the current heater and created options and sent a proposal quickly. He also was very responsive and detailed in all of my follow up questions. Kyle Massler was the technician who came to install the new heater and installation went quickly and had no issues. Couldn’t have been happier on process from start to finish and very happy to have heat again!
