Perfect Star Heating and Air Conditioning

Made a same day appointment with Perfect Star and Trenton was timely and professional. He was able to get the furnace running temporarily and offered to attempt to find replacement parts for repair, however given the age, recommended replacement. He made an appointment within two days to have a representative provide an estimate for replacement of our 30+ year old furnace. Trenton was well spoken and was able to get assistance from Senior staff to assist with repair.

We contacted them early this morning and they were able to come out today! Our thermostat stopped working and our AC wasn’t responding. They communicated on the time of arrival and the technician was very professional and kind. He fixed the wiring issue and fuse and communicated with us thoroughly. We really appreciate how he made sure that everything was done correctly and that we were happy. Thank you for being so nice and respectful. Best experience ever.

Perfect Star responded within hours after several other companies could not get to me same day. Thought I would need a new wire run from the furnace to the new Nest which required a C wire that had been cut off well into the wall by the Trane installer. Was quoted over $600 which seemed outrageous until my installer came up with a solution that brought it down to $380. He was very professional and had my Nest working within the hour. I signed up for their annual maintenance plan and got a 20% discount on the install so it was a win/win. Their efficiency and professionalism gained them a new customer.

Had a great 1st experience with Perfect Star and our service technician, Nick. They will be my go to service company for anything HVAC in our home going forward.

Raymond was very personable and professional. Diagnosed the problem with my AC and fixed it quickly. I was dreading the return of hot weather as it had not been working properly.

I called them and told them how my heater starts blowing cold air about once a day, and the only way I've found to fix it is to turn it off and on again. They sent a technician over to do a "diagnostic" which I prepaid $79 for, and he spent about 1 hour at our house, testing all kinds of things. He cleaned the filters, let it run for 35min and it worked (which is not surprising, given the symptom). The problem persisted so I called them back a couple of weeks later, at which point they wanted to charge me an additional $79 to diagnose _the same problem_. Not impressed.

Update: From later technicians I learned that by connecting to the circuit board you can see what the most recent errors were and immediately know what the problem is. Which means the technician from Perfect Star was incompetent as he did not do that.

Nick was personable and efficient. He explained what he was doing and answered my questions. I am very pleased with my service.

Maintenance Technician Danny Tran was great! He is professional, knowledgeable, and explained the situation with my furnace. I'm very please with Mr. Tran and Perfect Star. I will definitely use them again in the future!
