Quick response time to fix our AC on a long holiday weekend! Professional, kind and knowledgeable. Signed up for the membership to continue using AC by J in the future.

They are consistently great! All of their technicians are super communicative, very professional, and time efficient. Schedulers are amazing as well. This is a very well run operation and I would recommend them to everyone!

They gave us a schedule from 12-5pm on a Tuesday afternoon and didn’t show up until almost 8pm with no communication or heads up prior. After that visit, they said that they would be back tomorrow to complete the repair, but we never heard from them. I had to call the following day asking what the delay was and what no one showed up, and the dispatch team didn’t know that they were supposed to be back at the job. They did end up coming later that night and completed the job, but for charging $89 for an evaluation, the communication and professionalism was disappointing and unprofessional. No consideration of anyone’s time or personal schedule.

Professional, knowledgeable, informative, friendly. No pressure. What more can you ask for? Michael was my technician and he was the best. Thank you.

I was sold a new unit by Juan in July 2022. The second time I turned my heater on in the fall the air handler outside started spewing freon and a technician was sent to repair the faulty install there. Ive been trying for 6 months to get home repairs leftover from damage on the original faulty install of my air conditioning unit. I get promises of resolution but still haven't heard anything and those promises come from month to month once I've left enough messages and somebody decides to pay attention. they sent a third-party contractors that did more damage with patch jobs uneven and painted over with flat paint on a satin finish. I've had nothing but problem since the beginning during the install they left before evening out all of the air flow and still hasn't been fixed. They came and put a damper on but again no one checked until the manager came out and said they would do another one which they have not done. The installers left tons of trash behind AC by Jay did come back and clean up the trash and told me they would use this experience for training purposes. After the install it took them sending out four separate a technicians before finally a manager Josh finally acknowledged that the cap on the condensation pipe was not put on which caused a leak in the primary bathroom closet and primary bedroom. I pleaded with office staff Julie, Casey and two others that I lost track of, who told me they could get things fixed but weren't really relaying the information to their main manager Josh. The third party contractor sent to do repairs finally came in December and like I said before made more of a mess. Josh came out in Jan 2023 to assess the damage and acknowledge the contractor did terrible work and said he would get someone else out to finsh things and fix the jet engine airflow issue in my primary bedroom and bath and they would get it fixed. The same contractor called me to set up an appointment and I asked him to contact Josh because I did not want that same contractor in my home after the work they had done. That was last week, the first week of February 2023, and still no progress. This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with with no resolve still. I would not recommend that you allow this company into your home or trust them to take care of your homes heating and cooling. Additionally, they have not completed any regular maintenance under the new AC warranty they offer. Just another issue I'm stuck with dealing with for the life of this thing. Sorry I didn't write this review sooner to help warn folks but I was trying to be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt that this was a one off because of all of the good reviews.

I had never used AC by J before but had seen their ads on tv and thought the company sounded honest and trustworthy. A plumber named Mikey came to evaluate a 10 year old electric water heater and give me his opinions. He took his time and was very thorough. Also, he discovered a leak had started under my kitchen sink where a plumber years ago had not properly installed my garbage disposal and some other pipes. I decided to have all the work done that Mickey suggested. The next day Mikey and Pedro came to do the work. They both were kind, caring, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Also they took their time and made sure the work was perfect. They cleaned up all the debris after they were finished. I had called the office several times both days and every one of the receptionists went above and beyond trying to answer my questions. When I called the first time I had asked to speak to a plumbing manager. They had Jake call me back in about 15 minutes. He was awesome. We talked for probably 15 minutes about my needs. He is to be praised for also going above and beyond to help a potential customer. Because of the excellent service I received from all your employees, Jake, Mikey, and Pedro I am going to use AC by J for my air conditioning needs. Thank you AC by J for having such wonderful employees working for your company.

Yearly checkup of my electrical system as well as a/c. Truly the most professional and friendly company I’ve used in years. I don’t know how they’ve trained the staff and receptionist so well. Other companies should emulate them. Trust and respectable service! And they explained in detail everything they did. Thanks!

Update: I appreciate the owner reached out to me to learn about my experience. I won’t visit the BBB, and I hope they continue to learn and grow on their business. (Changed from 1 Star to 3 stars)

Terrible service. Overpriced. Maitenance program is worthless. I was a loyal customer, but they are not able to provide reasonable service. Had to cancel my service agreement as it wasn’t helping offset constant costs.

We are true fans of AC by J. We called and within an hour a technician was out to help us be preventative with water damage. Not only did they come out to assist us when they arrived, and it was unclear that more damage would not occur, the technician Mike stayed for a couple hours to secure it. Arrived really early in the morning to help us so we could even get to work on time. Amazing! We will always call this company for our housing needs.

Mike, Adam and Kayden were top notch! Most professional, polite and excellent folks we've worked with. Highly recommended. Replaced our entire system E2E. Showed up on time and finished early. Really great team. Highly recommend theirs services. I cannot speak highly enough to the level of professionalism.
