Desert Comfort Mechanical

DCM installed a new package AC unit some time ago. Since then, we’ve had miscellaneous issues with our system, most of which weren’t in any way related to the new unit. Each and every time, we called DCM, and they responded promptly and without question and helped address our needs. I absolutely would use them again. Best customer service I’ve every experienced.

Thursday night, I returned home, and my house thermostat was showing 85 degrees. I tried everything I knew to do without success. My husband searched for an AC repair company, saw the 5-star reviews for Desert Comfort Mechanical, and gave them a call. He called three companies, and Desert Comfort was the only one to call him back. They called back within 30 minutes. It was 9:00 pm by this time. Fidel said they could be out that same night or at 5:00 am. Since it was so late, already I opted for the early morning appointment. Fidel and another gentleman arrived when they said they would and, within 20 minutes, knew what the trouble was. They were both extremely professional and offered several options with reasonable pricing. They made the repairs the same day, provided me with Duct Cleaning company referrals, and even checked on me that evening to see if everything had cooled down and was working great.

I will refer Desert Comfort to anyone asking if I know a good AC company and be a loyal customer from here on out. Desert Comfort is a perfect example of great customer service.

Late in the evening noon on a Sat., my AC stopped working(temp was 110). A call was placed to a company to remain un-named. After more than 3 hours without a returned phone call. I called Doug who answered immediately.(I later found out that he had been working since 2:30 am) After explaining my situation, he informed me that he would have to call a co-worker to drive, (observing company safety regulations, regarding over stressing of techs) but, assured me that he would be out to fix my AC. In just over an hours time, Doug arrived with Dennis and they had my AC running in about 30 minutes. Despite of their grueling schedule, they were pleasant and professional. Don't hesitate to call DCM in a time of need.

We have had them come out a couple of times for issues with our AC. They are always prompt, professional, and fairly priced. I like that they repaired our AC without pushing a new system on us. I highly recommend Desert Comfort Mechanical and will definitely use their services again.

We had an AC technician help clear a clogged condensation drain today. He arrived on time and was friendly. He clearly explained the options and completed the job in short time. Their prices were very competitive.

Great company to work with. Overall, an exemplary job was performed by educated, respectful service techs.

I had an emergency arise with my evap cooler on a Saturday night, with my regular company dumping me as a customer because I got disgruntled at their lack of professionalism on an emergency call request ( which they were unwilling to make). I contacted DCM the following Sunday morning, and although they were booked solid, they did make every effort to assure me that I would be taken care of. I opted to wait until Monday with a 11-1pm window. Doug, the tech, called me at 11:15 to say they were on their way. When they arrived, they were very concerned, as they found noooooo issue at all. It was a mystery as to way the swamp cooler was blowing hot air. They didn't attempt to gouge me with unnecessary parts replacements. Showed me the system was working fine and educated me ( a single woman) on the inner workings of my cooling system.

Hands down, one of the best company service calls I have ever had. Will be using them next month for my season shut down of the system!!!!

The person who came to our house was very friendly and efficient. It did, however, take him over 1.5 hours to find us because he got lost and the office failed to give him our number so he could reach us. Seems crazy to me. He was very sorry, but it was 9pm on a Friday night and I had a very sick baby. So having to wait for him to just randomly find us was very frustrating and frankly unacceptable. It was the office's fault. Which is why we probably, unfortunately, won't use this company again.

Y'day late evening my air-conditioner started blowing hot air. (110 degree outside)... I tried calling a few different local companies/ contractors here...Being Friday night, no one was available...
Luckily, I was able to reach Doug over the phone. First he also said that the soonest one of his men will be able to come over would be Saturday AM. THEN, he asked me a few questions about the situation I was in and said that he'd like me to perform a few steps....NO WONDER - within a couple of minutes of him walking me over the phone...the air conditioner started working! WOLAAAA! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! Trust me Doug...I still owe you a case of beer! :-) Thank you Thank you Thank you! God Bless you!
