    OMG. I wish more service vendors were as good as Sterling Services.

    AC went out in July while we were out of town and my oldest daughter was house sitting. Called soooo many places that were either gouging on prices or could not get the higher quality unit we wanted for weeks out. I don't know why I didn't think of Sterling first. We have used them in the past and were quite happy with the work both A/C and plumbing.

    I will not be making that mistake again. Their number is now permanent on my fridge.

    What made them such a good call?
    First: We were out of town and I called LATE Friday. They answered right away and I explained the situation. Joe Vivonia was able to get out quickly and confirm the assessment we got from two previous companies that they unit could be repaired but is 17 years old and really should be replaced (full disclosure: we were really bad at having them maintained, Im amazed it lasted that long)
    Second: Joe got back to me with options with the hour. He did not try the hard press. Just presented replacement (as well as repair) options and told me to take our time, but could be out within days if we could let him know by the next day. He followed up with me multiple times on Saturday to answer all my wifes questions. Really really pleasant to work with.
    Third: They were able to install on the following Tuesday. This may seem long (3 days) to be without A/C but in 2021 supply chains, especially for the efficient higher end units is bad. Another local company said 12 weeks for the unit we wanted!
    Fourth: The install. Mark came out early to survey the site to make sure everything was ready to go for his guys and the crane. Explained in detail what the process was and how they were going to do it. And that means Chad Sanderfur. He was our installer. He was A-maz-ing. So polite. Everything working the first time with our existing thermostat. Made last minute alterations we requested to ensure we were 100% happy. Afterward he didn't just disappear. He took the time to take me up (5 ton roof unit) to show me the new system, the work they did to ensure I was happy with the finishing they did (we have a flat foam roof and things can go badly if not re-sealed properly) and explain a bit about the unit and future service mile markers. By the time he cleaned up our house was already cold again.

    Everyone's mileage may vary, but I cannot recommend these guys enough. They are not as well know as the various ones that spam the radio all the time (you know them all) but these guys are local and obviously dedicated to maintaining a reputation they should be proud of.

    Jeff from Sterling Services came out to inspect and repair a plumbing leak leading to the bathtub faucet area. He was extremely helpful and got the job done quickly. The costs were half of competitors that came the day before to quote pricing and I couldn't be more pleased that I waited on my decision until Sterling Services. Luckily, the leak wasn't bad enough to warrant immediate attention, but saving money for the same amount of work with expertise and professionalism was worth the 1 day wait. What a pleasant experience from the initial call to the technician and service provided. Will use them again for future plumbing, A/C, Heat, and other needs (they do a lot) in the future.

    Jourdan was amazing! He came to install a new thermostat but ended up doing much more as he had to troubleshoot many issues to get it to work properly. I’m so thankful for his persistence in making sure I had a working A/C System and thermostat. I will definitely call Sterling Services again for any HVAC needs.

    Arrived home around 9:30pm on the Fourth of July to find the temperature inside our home in the low 80s and climbing. Contacted Sterling Svcs. and their technician arrived in about two hours after our initial contact, he diagnosed the problem, made the repair in less than one hour, and proper cooling was restored. I can’t emphasize enough how important air conditioning is in Arizona during the hot summer months. Thank you Sterling Services.

    The Gas company came out to start a new service for me recently. When the technician turned on the gas he was unable to connect the back yard as there was a gas feature with no visible on/off control. I was told to hire a contractor to find it and then they would be back to reconnect the gas. Jeff Holmes from Sterling came out. They have a very efficient system of scheduling and letting you know when they would be showing up!
    Jeff did a great job of searching and finding the shut-off He was here on time and very efficient.
    The same day I called the gas company to reconnect I was told “We don’t do that” and “You were told to have a licensed Contractor turn it back on” .
    Sterling Services was as confused as I was but sent Jeff back out a few days later.
    Jeff took one look and knew that the gas company should be doing the reconnect. He could do it but it would cost me hundreds.
    After more than an hour on the phone with the gas company they agreed to come out.
    Jeff and Sterling Services were great. They were patient and knowledgeable and I know I will be calling and recommending them in the future!

    They were amazing! I have 3 dogs who all have their own personality’s, they were super accommodating and kind with them. They came to check out my ducts and give me quote for cleaning and an air scrubber. I’m super excited for the air scrubber!!!!! Thanks!!!

    I woke up during the night to one of our vents making a very loud noise. I called first thing in the morning and Sterling Services had a service tech, Jourdan Erickson, out in the afternoon which was what time worked best for me. As is typical for me, the noise didn't happen with the service tech, Jourdan, on site. He listened to the recording of the noise and tried to get the system to make it again and then he went on to do an inspection to see if he could find any problems. He was very kind, courtesy, and very professional. I highly recommend Jourdan and Sterling Services!
