The folks at MetFab have taken care of our heating and cooling system for the past 5 years. Every time we call the response is quick and the customer service is very professional. We were given solid information regarding our options and what we could expect from each of them. We ended up just doing a full furnace replacement as that was the most cost effective solution to our issue. The installers were top notch and went above and beyond what we had hoped for. Its nice to find a good company that takes customer service so serious. We recommend these folks to everyone we know.

I had an amazing experience today. I felt like it was 20 years ago when times were a little slower and customer service was NOT a rarity. I truly felt cared for. The OWNER came out today to help out his crew who are slammed with this approaching heat wave. He detected the problem within minutes and hooked us up with electricians who were also wonderful. They came out the same day, too! What? This doesn't happen these days, correct? I'm not saying you will get same day service; every repair has different circumstances. I am saying that this is an old-fashioned company that cares about people and community. We had used them before for a furnace issue and had a great experience then as well. #CustomerForLife! I used MetFab for my heat pump/furnace repair last winter and now to replace my whole system--which was old (1971!) and failing. They were great to deal with, their techs/electricians were professional, respectful and knew their stuff. They gave me good advice; didn't try to sell me on extras or overbuilt systems; gave me a competitive price; and explained problems and made sure I knew about my new system. I highly recommend MetFab--excellent company & service.

With this recent heatwave, our AC broke down. I called a number of places and as expected they were either too busy or just plain too expensive. I gave Metfab and call and was told they would call back in a while with any availability. In the meantime they asked that I give them information as to the issues I was having. They called me back a while later and told us with any luck the owner would be out this afternoon. Got a second call to let us know he would be here within the hour. True to their word Jason showed up, diagnosed the issue, left to get another part and repaired out AC.

MetFab charged $268.92 for a non-emergency service call (of which I waited 4 days for them to get to me without complaining) to diagnose and replace a super cheap capacitor in my AC unit. Which is what I told them I thought it was in the first place. The job was so easy, from the time I opened my front door to meet the technician to the time I shut my garage door with the job complete...was literally just under 15 minutes. As well, the capacitor cost less than $15 retail on Amazon. I called Metfab and spoke with the owner who told me I probably complain to anyone who provides a service just so I can get money back. That's indicative of a scammer trying to shift their shady practices onto others.

If this had been an emergency call or required a larger amount of labor and/or materials or any combination thereof, I could see the higher price. But not for less than 15 minutes worth of work and a part worth less than $15 retail.

Getting a ductless heat pump installed was one of the best investments I have ever made, and using MetFab was the best choice. We knew this was going to be an expensive investment (we needed a unit in each room of the house) and so we had 5 different companies give us estimates. They each came to the house and gave us very similar estimates of cost, but MetFab's estimate was the lowest. However, the thing that made MetFab different and really stand out as the best choice, was the owner, Jason. His expert knowledge and honesty about what to expect was unparalleled. All of the other companies sent a salesman out to do the evaluation and each one suggested a different approach to installation. I discussed these other ideas with Jason and he was able to tell me the finer points that those other salesmen left out, such as the possibility of unsightly gutter-like covers on interior walls; drainage issues and pooling if the unit was installed incorrectly on a vaulted ceiling, etc. Jason was the only one of all the companies who knew the whole process from start to finish, instead of sending a salesman who was inexperienced with actual install details. The end result is a system that we love. We finally have even heat throughout the house and are excited that we also finally have air conditioning.
On installation day, the installers arrived bright and early and were able to install the whole five-head unit in one day. They were courteous and made efforts to not make a mess on the carpet and flooring. When they left, they cleaned up after themselves and gave a detailed instruction on how to operate the units.
I believe you will not find a more honest and knowledgeable owner/operator than Jason at MetFab.
