My family dealt with HVAC issues for over a month without reprieve and with multiple failed repair attempts from various HVAC technicians. Enter Red and Charles from Mercurio’s Heating & Air Conditioning. They did what others failed to do, stayed after hours to continue troubleshooting and managed to fix our A/C. My family (which includes a 1.5 year old) is thankful for the expert support from these two and the company. Five stars. Two thumbs up. Would recommend.

After being without heat for over two weeks due to a burned out furnace fan motor, and getting a run around from two other contractors recommended to me by my home warranty company, I made the wise decision to call a company that I have recommended dozens of times to my real estate clients - Mercurios! They answered my call immediately, had a fantastic technician (Dani) here in 3 hours who diagnosed the problem and even had the part I needed on her truck, and completed the repair in a little more than an hour! I couldn’t be happier with the service, caring and skill I received which is what I’ve always experienced with Mercurios and I only wish I could rate them a “10”

We were a little disappointed with our furnace and heat pump install.

Problems after install.

1. After the install on the next day we got an error message on the thermostat that the service tech noticed when he arrived. The tech told us there was a bent copper tube. It took him about 6hrs waiting for parts to replace the tube and recharge the system.

2. Heat pump started making a noise 9 months after install and the unit was getting iced over. Their solution was to fix the heat pump pad as it was installed incorrectly.

After fix number 1, the heat pump was still making a noise. The noise was loud enough to wake us as the heat pump is directly under our bedroom window.

3. Heat pump was still making a noise and Mecurios came and charged the system as it wasn't fully charged. Doing that stopped the heat pump it from icing over, but it still made the noise.

4. They ended up having replacing the whole heat pump and I believe a damaged chip in the air handler.

5. 2 1/2 years later a part in the air handler started leaking water all over the interior of the house.

We went with Mecurios because we thought they would provide a quality install. I didn't think we received that. I also wouldn't buy American Standard again after having issues within the first year.

We've never owned a heat pump and wasn't aware of what was involved. The furnace was also twice the size of our old unit. Sales representative or the installer should have been more clear of the overall install the moment they arrived. Not after parts are already installed.

First off, they Installed the furnace in way that couldn't be finished off to the sides of the furnace with sheetrock. Wouldn't have been able to get a stud in for backing also. After my request they turned the unit around. I thought basic finishing details would have been considered.

I think there installers are set to a 2 day timeline for install. There used installing the fastest way possible without giving the homeowner options. I had to interrupt the installer to see what his plan was and pipe locations.

I gave him one suggestion for pipe location, which he was okay with, but didn't realize it would lead to an unsighly transition through the sheetrock. Running electrical and plumbing through the same hole leaving a tough patch for sheetrock. I thought they would have had a cleaner solution for that transition.

Dont know anything about heat pumps and I wish I was given more options/locations of where the pipe and electrical could have been run.

After the install and they left we realized they didn't install the media air cleaner and the extra thermostat that we wanted. Installer never mentioned they were not installed. After two revised bills and almost paying for the parts, we realized we were being billed for these items.

I recommend Mercurios Heating and cooling and Robert Grimley. I had Mr. Grimley as a tech and after a negative experience with another company’s bid, he provided a much better experience. Mr. Grimley was considerate, putting covers on his shoes, professional, kind and a very clear communicator. He gave me a transparent bid that beat the prior by more than 50%. My experience with the intake phone line was also excellent. I called at 8:00 am and by 10:30 am the tech was at my door. The company’s pricing is transparent and detailed. I purchased a service plan and will be using this company for my hvac system moving forward.
