Fox Plumbing, Heating & Cooling - Seattle

Joey and his coworker were both very friendly and informative when they came for a consultation regarding my high water pressure. They called 40 minutes before arrival, answered my questions, and let me know what to consider regarding installing a PRF and also changing out my 12 year old water tank. Since I’ll be using them to do the project, they waived the initial visit today.

I would not wish this company upon my worst enemy. I made the mistake of choosing them based on their positive reviews and their availability. They installed a new kitchen faucet and bathroom faucet for me back in December. I raised an issue regarding the new kitchen sink being deeper than the old one before they began the quote and they said it would not be an issue. They ended up quoting me $1500 which I thought was a little high, but not outrageous.

Once they had finished the bathroom faucet and were installing the kitchen one, they said the sink being deeper was actually going to be an issue and I could either get rid of my garbage disposal, or they could pull my dishwasher and look into running a new line. They could not tell me how much the second option would cost, but I did not want to lose my disposal, so I said go ahead and pull the dishwasher. Once the dishwasher was pulled they quoted me an additional $1500 to run the new line. They said if I did not do the additional line, they would charge me for the dishwasher pull; pretty shady sales tactics.

Once all the work was done and I had paid twice the original quote for an issue I had brought up, I thought I could at least be happy the work was professionally done, but no. The sink in the bathroom started leaking shortly after being installed, ruining everything that was beneath it and damaging the paper/base of the cabinet. I contacted their 24 hr line and was told that even though it was their mistake, if I wanted someone to come out to address the leak immediately, I would have to agree to pay more money. I turned the water off myself and put out a bucket hoping that would be enough because I was not giving another dollar to these scam artists.

Once it was business hours, I was able to speak to somebody in the office who did send someone out promptly to “fix” the leak. He said he found the issue and fixed it, but low and behold, it kept leaking. I had to call again and be home again during the day for them to come “fix” the leak. Never once was I ever offered any sort of discount for the troubles or damage it caused or an apology. I had to ask to be reimbursed for the damaged items and at this point I wouldn’t trust this company to clean my cat box, so I figured I would just deal with the damage myself. We had to call 4 separate times before “Jim” the manager finally called us back and agreed to pay for the items. To this day, we still have not seen the reimbursement money even after several additional emails. The only way I can logically explain their utter and complete incompetence on so many levels is if they were a money laundering front or something along those lines at this point.

Long story short/TLDR: Do not use this company. They have shady sales tactics and if there is an issue, they will not make it right.

Service was professional and on time. Both men were very easy to work with. Knew just what to do and verified that drain was completely clean. Had to remove 3 clogs. Appreciated discussion of water heater and other plumbing maintenance.

Sebastian arrived on time with a professional and friendly attitude. He diagnosed the problem with my furnace, repaired it, and gave it a thorough cleaning/repair. The price was very reasonable compared with other companies I have hired. Best of all was Sebastian‘s positive attitude and pleasant demeanor. Also, Fox communicated well with me from the time I made the appointment to once the job was completed. I would definitely hire them again.

Several "small" issues but they required special attention, time and persistence to solve. Fate, the plumber, did all these repairs with competence, patience and humor until they were solved. Appreciated his help and explanations very much!

Daniel Martinez was personable, very professional and timely and an asset to your company!!! I will use Fox for all my needs. In the future. They installed a heat pump and new furnace 3 years ago so happy never had an issue and stand behind their work.

We had a great experience with Fox Heating & Plumbing! Our old 1970s furnace gave out just before New Years, and their team quickly got us 7 estimates to compare of different equipment and installation packages, and within a week we had our new furnace installed and running great. Every person I worked with (Kobe, Gavin, and Michael) and the phone support was very professional and answered all questions I had. They were communicative, on time, and always left a clean work space. I’ll definitely use them again when we need, and recommend their services!

I have a great experience with Fox Plumbing for gas plumbing work. Fate does a great job and is thorough and also a perfectionist when it comes to his work. Will definitely call again when I need gas work.
