Ostrom Electrical Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

Our hot water went out suddenly without warning and we had a previous contractor fall through with the repair. So I reached out to Ostrom for what we originally figured was a water heater issue. We had a couple of technicians come out and they were quickly able to spot the issue and provide a solution. They were even able to send two technicians in one day after we realized it wasn't a water heater issue. The following day we had the repairs done, it looks great and they made the process simple and educational. I will forever be grateful for the fantastic service we received!

11/23/22-Task-replace ice maker water supply valve. We Declined their work after receiving their very high cost estimate for a simple plumbing job. I paid their $38 show up /estimate fee and declined their work after waiting all day for them to arrive. They arrived at 3:30 pm on the day we had agreed on. Their personnel were polite both during scheduling and the service tech was professional and polite, price was too high for a small plumbing job.

Service scheduling leadtime about 1-2 weeks for plumber, I was given a timeframe that they would arrive sometime within the entire day on 11/23/22. They arrived around 3.30 pm and looked at job and provided a price before work begin. The cost estimate and coming to our house was $38.

Then I got the price estimate of $ 423.96, wow, I couldn’t believe it. I asked how they calculated the cost, hours and labor, nope it’s a task based total number , no definition on hours and material cost. I declined the work and paid $38. The technician was polite and professional, he was following Ostrom cost procedures. He arrived on the date we agreed on, they are very busy.

Not willing to pay the Ostrom amount, I went to Lowes , got a Sharkbite 3/4x3/4x1/4 ball valve, it was installed in 1 hour. Cost was $29. I’m thankful for a friend who had used Sharkbite and had tools to install.

No comment on quality of work, I only got a cost estimate, that was ridiculously high without details of cost of labor and materials.

Both Daniel and Richard did very well on the installation of our new tankless water heater. Very thankful how quickly they could get our new water heater in so we didn't have to wait too long without hot water. Very thankful to have the Ostrom family have my family's back!

Kyle came out to install our alkaline water machine and he did a beautiful job. We have never had such a clean and efficient installation of this system. We are delighted with their work and our phone rep Alex did a great job scheduling and communicating all of the appointment details. Thank you!!

Dan and Jordan with Ostrom did an excellent job placing a new exhaust fan in our bathroom, new ceiling fans, and adding a new outdoor porch light. They were prompt, professional, and kept their work areas neat and organized. Ostrom also seems to have flexible appointment times. We’ve never had to wait too long for an appointment, and we’ve had them to our home three times.

They were very professional and efficient. They came in and did a great job getting everything installed. I had a few questions and they answered them with knowledge and a love for what they were installing. A true pleasure to work with.

VERY impressed with Jessy! He explained all my options and went through cause and effects of each option (what happens if I did a bigger repair and what happens if not). He outlined the cost of each and then made the repair. He was professional, kind and tidy which was important to me! 10/10!

Scott did a fantastic job taking care of my electrical needs. He was very professional and explained everything in detail so I could understand exactly what was completed and any potential needs I may have related to additional work being completed on my home. Very much appreciate Scott’s thoroughness and expertise! Would highly recommend his services to others!

Ostrom responded very quickly when our A/C split unit was not cooling. On Thursday, Toby diagnosed a coolant leak and we chose to have a new unit installed. Eric came right out to quote the job and check equipment availability. The parts would be available Monday, with a potential install on Tuesday morning. I received a confirmation text, and Chris and his team arrived right on time! They were respectful, quiet, professional, and knowledgeable. We are thrilled with our experience and our new/efficient equipment. 👍😊

Jessy was very professional and informative. He helped me understand what needed to be done and why. I felt the price was extremely fair and he went above and beyond to make sure I had all of the information I needed to ne comfortable with the installation of my water softening system and pressure reducing valve. Absolutely will be using him again for any future needs.
