I have a home warranty and was assigned this company to repair my AC that was not keeping my upstairs cold. I put the request in on June 1st and was told there was no availability until June 8th. They gave me a time frame of 8am-1pm, which I feel is unacceptable but I made it work. I had no contact from anyone the day of the appointment, so I called the office around 2pm on the 8th and asked if someone was still coming out. The person who answered the phone was apologetic and assured me that someone would be coming out before 5 o'clock and that he had two more service calls before mine. The technician did not communicate with me at any point and showed up to my home around 4:15pm. I would have very much appreciated a heads up that he was on the way so I could put my dogs up, who of course went nuts when he arrived. The technician was kind and worked quickly to identify the problem. If I need AC repair and am given the choice of which company to use, I would not choose this one in the future due to lack of communication and being 3.25 hours outside of the time window given without any sort of apology.

I want to thank Cutting-edge for fixing our HVAC system. Brandon is such a awesome technician I know it will get fixed right the first time. Very mannerly always pleasant and very knowledgeable…because of Brandon we always use Cutting Edge with our AHS warranty.

I’ve never had so much trouble with an HVAC company as I have with this one. A technician was dispatched by my home warranty company. When he came to my house, he made an incorrect diagnosis which made my warranty company deny the claim. Now I am unable to get the company to own the mistake and make it right.

***UPDATE***
My home warranty company dispatched Cutting Edge to our home again as they were the only company available. I have to say I was not happy. HOWEVER, this time Brandon, an obviously more qualified technician, came out. He was so polite and friendly and diagnosed our issue immediately. He also found an issue that a previous technician caused. Cutting Edge will still have to come back once more to install a part on order so I’m reserving more stars until that happens. They still haven’t owned up to the incorrect diagnosis in the fall and the issues it caused so I don’t know that they’ll ever earn 5 stars from me.

The whole team was absolutely amazing, and quick to respond when our ac stopped turning on. We had to go thru our home warranty company and they helped make the process seamless and 10x easier. They went above and beyond and added a vent for a room that didn’t have one. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

The recall lady that came out, told me one thing and reported something else. I will be calling in the morning regarding her analysis. The first guy was poor, and I finds that he no longer works there and now she follows up and she lies, and not honest. Which means this company is not trust worthy.

For your reply.....Now your first licensed tech over filled it and then he needed to released some so that the house will cool off etc.... In which the temp steadily increased in two hours. Yes, i stated recall, because I called the same day and next day and had to place a recall order for another tech for the unresolved issue. I do not have any dog(s), or any animals. The unit is in an area that has leaves but no grass for needing any cutting, chopping etc.... and the yard is fenced. I have contacted AHS and was giving different communication than the second tech stated. She stated to me that the unit could not breath and low of refrigerant. She also stated to help it to release the heat, for me to hosed down with water. Also she stated it was low of refrigerant (may not be the correct term), in which was just released and checked by your first tech.

First and foremost, our technician, Brandon, was super friendly and efficient. Explained to me the issue and how to prevent it in the future.

Only gripe is that due to the wide service window and then stating that they would not notify me when a technician was on their way, I ended up having to take two days off of work when I got bumped to the next day because someone called out.

Overall a good experience!
