I currently have a home warranty plan with American Home Shield (AHS). Based on the service level that I have with them I had a free air conditioning check and tune up. After getting it set up with them, the work order was assigned to Cutting Edge Heating and Cooling.

My ticket was put into AHS on May 28, 2022. I got a call from Cutting Edge on May 31, 2022, in order to schedule the date. The work was scheduled for and completed on June 2, 2022.

The call I received from them on May 31st wasn't that long. The representative that called first said that they would be able to get out here on June 9th, but as she was looking, there was an opening for the 2nd, so I went ahead and took that time slot, which was between 8 am and 1 pm.

Around mid-morning on June 2nd, I got a call from their office that that the technician would be out towards the later end of the time window. This really was not an issue for me since I wasn't going anywhere that day anyways. Around 1:30 pm, the technician Adrean arrived. He was very professional and the first thing he looked at was the thermostat, and then checked the HVAC unit, which is in the garage. He made a comment that it was nice to not have to go up into the attic. With the heat of the day, I totally get that too. After about 30 minutes or so, he was done after also checking the outside unit. There were no issues as expected.

Overall, this was a good experience. The technician was professional and checked the things that needed to be checked. I have another company that I normally use on a regular basis, but I would consider them in the future if needed, even outside of the home warranty program.

Cutting Edge was amazing!!! They came in and found out exactly what was wrong with my furnace quickly. The fix was quick and the guys were very professional. I would truly recommend this company to others. Please call them to service your HVAC needs.

We just had a wonderful experience dealing with Cutting Edge Total Comfort! After talking with Jay (technician), he was able to get me the right information in a timely manner! Our AC system went out on the hottest day (so far) in Va Beach! Chrystal (office manger) was able to get a technician (Brandon) out to our house the very next day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested a solution. He contacted Chrystal and she was able to get the needed parts overnight! Brandon and Nate (technicians) were able to install the parts and fix our AC in about an hour! I can’t thank Cutting Edge enough for their attention to detail and customer service, especially Jay for calling to follow up later that evening to check on our satisfaction! My family will continue to deal with this company for ALL of our future HVAC needs!

RUN - Run away from this business, don’t even consider them, very inconsiderate and full of lies. This guy Andrew came , Grandma showed the side of the unit and asked to wait for 5 minutes so Grandma can secure the dog from the backyard, BUT he just left and claimed that she won’t let him in. Andrew claimed he waited for more than 10 mins so he just left. But it’s not true.
In short, we are charged uselessly with service of $100 plus missed appt of $51, and still suffering with no ac in the house. When we ask for next appt, it will be a 5 more days before they can come back and another $100 service call plus repair costs. They must enjoy ripping hard working people that needs help this summer! ! What a day!!! Waste of time and money with this business, never ever use them nor recommend them.. I should have believed all the horrible reviews because they are true.

Technicians arrived on time and performed work needed to repair my issue. My repair required a part that needed to be ordered, and they returned in about a week to install the part(s). I did have to call them back out, and they arrived a few days later and addressed that issue as well. Each time the technician communicated with me letting me know he was en route, and they arrived in the scheduled time frame. Overall I am very pleased with the company and my repair job

Our entire HVAC system went out, so we filed a claim through American Home Shield (home warranty company). It was going to take weeks and a lot more money for the repairs to be made, and the repair approval was still not guaranteed. We decided to go directly through Cutting Edge instead. Jay was able to take care of us and set up an appointment the next day for the full repairs. He was extremely nice and professional, answered all of our questions really well, and put our minds at ease with this issue we had been dealing with for over a month (American Home Shield was so delayed, and we had been without AC for the entire time). We will be definitely giving our business to Cutting Edge in the future, and specifically asking for Jay.
