Daniel was a great Tech and was very friendly to both us and our pets. He was focused on the getting the job done right and explaining to us not only what he was doing but why.

Replaced my old system, service was great!

The tech that came out to inspect us straight up lied about our furnace being damaged, needing to be replaced. He even stated that he legally had to shut it off.
We ended up getting two other companies to come out who said our furnace was fine.
I called who I believe was the owner. He was friendly, nice, and very helpful. I asked for a refund and we got it.
We may have just got the one off employee, so hard to say anything about their services other than the owner.

Scott from North Star heating was great! Very different from all the other technicians we've used over the years. He didn't leave our house until after 9:00pm! Anyone else would have given up! Great guy and I would recommend anyone to call Scott first at North Star.

Doug from North Star was awesome! Our furnace was being super loud so we called and he was able to replace a few parts and even cleaned the furnace while he did the replacement. It's so much better now! Really great experience

These guys are awesome! They were at my house within 30 minutes of calling. They quickly found that our igniter had blown. They had it fixed within an hour. It was awesome!! They did talk to me about needing to get a new furnace and did give me some price quotes. However, I didn't feel pressured about replacing the one we have. It felt more like they were trying to make sure I was prepared in case something dis happen to it. Their pricing seems fair and was very comparable to a lot of the other higher rated companies. Glad I found these guys. I will defintiley be using them for all of my furnace issues.

We had a horrible experience with this company. My husband had end up talking to the owner and getting this set up to get our AC fixed since our control board went out. He said he was going to try to get it under warranty and we would have to pay for labor. We were ok with that. Next we knew his technician came out with the part to fix it and never told me anything on price. He went and fixed the part and we tested to make sure it was working and it was. After he tells me that the owner didn't give us a price so his price is $775. He never gave me an invoice of the details or anything. I had to run to the bank so I had to call the office to pay. It has been over 24 hours since the service was done and I still don't have an invoice of any kind. We got ripped off when we looked up parts it was going to be maybe $200. Needless to say we will never use these crooked people again. The job was under my husband's name Justin Walch.

Update** We got a call from the owner of the business and informed us that the technician did indeed rip us off and is giving us a refund for the over charge. I was very pleased with the way he handled it and was very professional about it. Thank you for making it right. We will pass the good customer service on to our friends and family.

Our furnace stopped working and we looked online for a local business close to our home. After reading reviews for North Star, we decided to give them a call. Scott came to our home the next morning and found the problem with our furnace. He showed me exactly what was wrong and was able to get it running again. We had a power outage that night while we were sleeping and it shorted a fuse in the furnace. Scott was so helpful and told me exactly what to do over the phone. It was a simple fix I could do myself and only cost me $3.50 for the part. Super helpful/knowledgeable and we will call them for any future needs! Thank you!

Our tech. was great! Very helpful and informative. Our furnace went out turns out it was the safety indicator was dirty. Simple fix so the price was a little steep but his knowledge and overall evaluation of our furnace made it worth it. Definitely recommend.
