North Star Heating & Air Conditioning

I had an issue with my heating and air conditioner at my small business. After calling a couple other places Northstar was able to fit me in to their schedule. Not only did they get me up and running, they arrived sooner than I expected. They were very professional, honest and affordable. I will use and refer them to others. Thank you Northstar!! ~ CM

Customer service lacks, and they really aren’t a 24/7 business in an emergency.

Update: heard back from a manager and the owner and they are resolving issues. Thankful for better communication.

Our A/C unit does overnight and they came the next day when we called the next morning. When the technician, Anthony, arrived he asked what was happening and I explained that I believed the outside unit was the problem. He was able to quickly address the problem and was understanding and patient while we asked questions.
We have found our new heating and air specialist.

I had a heating system inspection by North Star. They said that the heat exchanger was cracked and leaking carbon monoxide. The repair cost was quoted to be $2500. I called in another local heating company for an inspection. They inspected all heating components, ran the heater for 20 minutes and found no traces of carbon monoxide leakage. This questionable analysis by North Star is a rip off. I cannot recommend North Star to anyone.

I would give this company a zero star if available. They state they offer 24 hour service.... and they did answer the phone in a Sunday... but that was the extent. They stated that they set up appointment and the tech would call within an hour. Nope. If you need HVAC service, do not contact this company! Contact another company... any other company.

Doug is the man! This company and Doug went above and beyond to make sure my system was working at its best. Did an extremely thorough job and always made sure to communicate exactly what he was doing. Wouldn’t hesitate to call North Star or Doug again!!!

My AC sprung a leak over the weekend. North Star answered my calls both Saturday and Sunday, then scheduled me on Monday. The tech arrived quickly and unclogged my line within a hour. I'm also getting free service checks in the fall and spring. Couldn't be happier with the service I was provided!

North Star was awesome! Did a tune up on my AC. Fast, professional and all straight talk, no up sell. I would recommend North Star to anyone looking for an honest HVAC contractor.

Thw part needed to repair our furnace got stuck in bad weather taking a extra 3 days to get to us during those 3 days we had some of the coldest weather of the season Mark our repair technician went the extra mile and found some electric heaters and wired the into. The crawl space to protect our water pipes from freezing and causing much greater problems
