Our A/C unit started to go out in the middle of last summer. We got a few quotes but they seemed really high. We heard that if you get your system replaced in the slower season (march/April) you can save a lot. In March we called and got 4 quotes from different companies.

North Star was the first company we had come out. They did not use any pressure tactics. They asked alot of questions to make sure we would get a great unit that would work for the house. They were very thorough and answered all of our questions.

We let them know we had 3 more bids to have done. The sales guys offered to call us back to follow up. He was good about checking in without feeling pushy.

We had one other company that told us they would match any bid we got pluse give us $50 off on top of that. North Star had the best price by far. We called the other company and they would match the price but the offer of the extra $50 was gone. Maybe North Stars price was too good. This other companies best price was a lot higher for a smaller less efficient unit.

We called North Star back to see if they offered a cash discount, like this other company did. They gave us a cash discount and a free duct cleaning. They also have a included maintenance plan which none of the other companies did. There price and service were better then any of the other company's we talked to.

Once we desided to go with them, they were able to schedule our installation for the next day. They had a manager come out a week or two after the install and do an Inspection to make sure everything was good with the install and the equipment.

They have great communication. They even responded to texts after 5pm. They registered our equipment for the warranties for us as well.

I am very impressed with this company. They will be my go to for any other services I need in the future.

Started using our heater for the cold weather not too long ago but was not working at all in fact it wasnt even turning on for the most part and that got us worried. Im not well knowledged as far as HVAC goes So I did not know what all I could trouble shoot in order to find out what the problem was called up these guys and they had the technician Daniel come out and come take a look at our furnance and got it working really quickly. He was also very nice and happy to answer any questions I had pertaining to what was going on and let me know about a couple other things that the company could offer as far as other services go and for the price of the visit it was very much worth it. Thank you Daniel for coming to help us out and we will definitely be keeping in contact with you guys. No longer shall we freeze haha.

Repaired the heater that had the moter die. The technician was very plesent and completed the repair. The unfortunate item is that parts keep going up in cost.

The whole process of getting our A/C unit back up and running was a breeze with Northstar from scheduling to completion of the repair!! Daniel from Northstar was very prompt and professional. he was able to diagnose the problem, obtain the replacement part and install it quickly. This is the only Heating and Air-conditioning company I would ever consider using if I ever need one in the future. Honest, Professional, and Reasonably Priced. These guys have been great to me, during my most recent annual free inspection they called in another manager because they saw something they weren't sure was an issue, just to be on the safe side. That's a lot of effort for a free annual inspection, but it definitely earns them my business.

I gave this company a call after being quoted 7,000$ by another company to fix my a/c (and this wouldn't be for another day or two) that wasn't working. My house was near 85 degrees when I called North Star, they sent out an amazing rep named Anthony. He came out within a half hour of my phone call and had my ac unit fixed and working in 10 minutes and he installed a new thermostat - I was only charged $330 for everything. I couldn't recommend this place enough, specifically Anthony. He was very professional, kind, honest, quick and efficient. Will use him for any future needs!

Amazing service, they were early to the appt. We were without an AC in over 100 degree weather and they fixed it fast. We had called 2 other companies and they couldn't get to us til mich later and we called them a day earlier than Northstar. We will be using them from now on for all our HVAC needs. Highly recommend.

North Star was quick in getting out to my home to quote my needs and to install as my AC went out the hottest week of the year. They were cheaper than another company who had quoted me the day prior.
