Canyon was the absolute best. Very thorough. Explained what he was doing the whole time. Found an issue and offered to replace and fix it right then showing pictures so I could understand what was the issue. One of our wires was melted and corroded by the rust as seen in the picture. Thank you

Have used Black Diamond in the past for electrical and drain problems. They have always come in the time window they scheduled, did a great job and the cost was reasonable. Recently had Reo come and do routine maintenance on my furnace and A/C. He was awesome. He came within the scheduled time block, and did a thorough job on my furnace and A/C. He even gave me some suggestions on things I could do to help my A/C run more efficiently. The cost was more than reasonable. Don't know why but this is posting under my granddaughter's name. I hired Black Diamond Experts to do a diagnostic check on my heating and air conditioning systems. Our technician was Brock, and he was great! He arrived on time and very respectful of our property. I also received a phone call in advance notifying me he would be arriving soon. Brock was very thorough in his work, and great at explaining things to us in layman's terms. I learned a lot from his visit! I was very happy with the service provided and the cost for that service, and I'll be using Black Diamond in the future for any heating, air conditioning, or plumbing needs I have. Thank you Brock!

I was so impressed. They scheduled me immediately and offered me a coupon to save me almost half on the service and they were on time and clean complete with shoe coverings and everything. He had it repaired within 10 minutes and checked and double checked and out the door in less than 30 minutes. He was thorough and professional and took care of all my concerns. Is 5 stars all I can give. Great service, will definitely use them again for all my needs.

Paid WAY too much for a fix that took less than an hour and a part that probably cost them $40-50.
I needed the cartridge replaced in our shower handle because the shower wouldn't turn off. Before calling a plumber, I turned off the household water myself and removed the shower handle all the way to the cartridge, but couldn't get that out. I called a few companies to find someone who could come same day and that's how I ended up scheduling Black Diamond Experts. The plumber that came out did come within a couple of hours and he was a nice guy, but they charged me over $600 to replace the cartridge, simply because I couldn't get the old piece out myself. The plumber started working on it at 1:22pm and had everything replaced and was out the door by 2:09pm. That's a crazy cost for something that took so little time and the part was not expensive. (The moen cartridge at Standard Plumbing is $53.69.) On the invoice, the line item was simply, "replace single handle shower cartridge" for $615. When initially quoting me the price, the plumber told me it was because it can take him three or more hours to get the cartridge removed. So that felt like I was greatly misled because it took him about ten minutes. That was his reasoning for charging so much for this work. If that's the case, then you need to charge based on the part and the labor, then you could have charged me for an hour of labor (rounding up) and a basic part. The trade off of working with a large company like this is their pricing is very high as well.

I highly recommend Black Diamond, they came out Monday afternoon to come and give a bid on a full system and just really just took extremely good care of me. Jon was very thorough and took his time explaining and answering any questions I had during the process. The service managers over at Black Diamond helped along with the process and are very engaged with the technicians. I know this is the most professional service company in the state of Utah. If you need any plumbing HVAC electrical, Black Diamond should be your go to. Thanks again Black Diamond, I LOVE this new A/C, furnace and thermostat!!

Had an overall great experience with Max at black diamond. Was super professional - really knew what he was doing and even clean up some less than picturesque work that another company did. Took pride in his work and worked really hard to make it great. Appreciated it.

We had quite the disaster with our sewage line breaking. These guys came to the rescue very quickly so that we could get back to using our plumbing system. They came right on time and worked very hard so that we could get back to normal life. Mike was very helpful and informative throughout the whole process and explained everything very well. Super nice people and very professional. Would definitely recommend!!

Unfortunately, all the cliches you hear were true for me with this company . Fool me once, you get what you pay for, if it's too good to be true, bait and switch, etc...all applied here.
I wanted to have my water heater flushed. I cant do it myself right now, but not because I dont know how. I'm on a tight budget (who isnt these days), so I went searching and found Black Diamond advertising an online deal for $49 for a water heater "flush". I'd never done business with them, but they had good reviews overall, so I scheduled. The technician was on time, cordial, and did not try to pressure me. That's why I rated 3 stars.
However, he turned off the water, let it drain, for less than 5 minutes, and told me that sediment was not the issue. He suggested instead that there might be an obstruction in my water line, and offered to "diagnose" the problem for a hefty fee.
I wont be taking that offer and wont be doing business with them again. If they can't be honest in little things (like accurately describing their $49 water heater special as a DRAIN instead of a flush), how could I trust them with something bigger.
