    This Saturday would be 2 weeks my AC has been out. The first day the repairman came out(Bryce).I gave him more than the benefit of the doubt that he knew what he was doing. First visit, I told him multiple time (i know people who do AC work), that there was a leak somewhere from the Freon. He said i was right, & was just going to do a temporary fix, since home warrant requires that first?? (my warrant company said otherwise, you can fix a part first visit). My house was cool for ONE day. Two days later Bryce comes out AGAIN(i knew would happen, from the beginning i said i have a leak in Freon). This time, he went in attic, for maybe 3 mins. & came back down saying there was a leak in the coil. I told him(again i know people in AC business), did he check to see if anything bubbled from a leak. Was he sure that it was the coil? He said, he didn't need to check if there were bubbles, cause he can tell by so much oil around the coil that the leak had to be there. I INSTANTLY felt like-1. He didn't want to take the time to check. 2. Maybe he just doesn't know what he is actually doing. 3. Or maybe they are the type to keep coming back after spending so much money on other parts, just to get money off their people. Since it was a holiday weekend, i called my home warranty. To make sure if this CRUMP ever sent in the part.Since it was 100 degrees, i have 2 babies & mentioned more than once the urgency of the situation since my baby got SICK from being in the hot house. Now its Tuesday, after the holidays. I call CRUMP & told them that my warranty said they never sent in the coil that i needed last week. The lady on the phone, said "Thats strange let me call in & see what the issue is." Along with blaming my home warranty, saying the drop the ball a lot.(Another issue , they want to blame the home warranty for EVERYTHING- To make them not look bad). After i made her call my home warranty, guess what? My home warranty said she BARELY put in for the part that i needed ordered, when she shouldve did it the end of the week before. DAYS going by, my baby still sick-- 100 degree weather. CRUMP doesnt care thought right? Couple days pass, i keep calling both home warranty and AC company. I even tell Crump that i think i am going to have to find another company, because she told me even if the home warranty approved the part same day, i still wont be able to have someone come out and replace it until the next week. WTH? My Baby is sick!!! From sweating, and being cooled off by a fan!!!!! but again.. they dont care. When i said i would probably hire someone, she tried to convince me not to.. "well home warranty might not reimburse you, and if they do it might take up to 30 days. Your coil is under warranty from your unit, once we get the part i can assure you everything will be taken care of." I had no choice at this point to call, get an AWESOME company to come. and guess what?! IT WASNT EVEN THE COIL THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED! I WAS RIGHT!! BRYCE never checked the coil to begin with, like he told me. My coil looked BRAND NEW!!!!! I had a leak in the condenser outside, and the company fixed it same day!!!!! R&R hvac & refrigeration services knows what theyre doing.& because of my situation with my babies, i paid literally NOTHING. CRUMP AC is just a company that probably does residential work,& has no idea what to even look for. Get a company that does alot of commerical, cause if the company can do commercial complicated work. They can do measly residential work. Crump AC was going to replace a coil, that wasn't even bad! I will be posting this to so many websites and social media. They dont know what they're doing, or they just want to try & get money. I see that they respond to reviews, whatever- give me whatever excuses you want. The only reason they have these other good reviews, is because before they leave they send you a link & want you to give them a good review right then and there, even if the work isn't even done. I knew better-People do not write reviews until your AC is fixed. STAY AWAY from this company!

    All I want is a fair service, a fair price, and items that actually need replacement to be replaced. Greg knocks these out of the park and more! He clearly articulates what’s going on, cross checks model and serial numbers for ratings, seeking out any possible warranty savings, and truly does a terrific job of getting you cold again in this hot HOUSTON weather. Have been using him for almost 10 years (3 houses of my own, plus countless referrals in my profession as a realtor), and Greg is always there with exceptional service!!!

    I was concerned about having a technician in my home during the quarantine but he was very professional wore a mask and gloves and changed the gloves each time he re-entered my home e.g. he had to go get a part. He changed gloves before re-entering my home. This is the third time Ihave used Crump Air and all three times I have been impressed withe their professionalism, quality of work, timeliness and prices!

    I have used Crump A/C twice since moving to Houston. Both times they have been professional and have been able to fit me into the schedule so I didn't have to suffer without AC in the heat.

    Always impressed with the excellent knowledge by the technician who comes to service our units.
    Knowledgeable and experienced, technician takes the time to explain issue of any and give us the realistic options to consider without pushing for more expensive ones only. Also big plus is technician left sites clean (no bits and pieces laying in insulation on ground.
    We had a small unresolved issue for 2 years with a leaking air handler which had been seen by our old maintenance who just fixed it with a “bandaid” and not understanding the cause, we had two other companies take a look only Crumps found what cause was (air intake form a pvc access pipe that Hs beennadded so we could pour bleach to clear pipes). Highly recommend them. Also am fond of their maintenance program which gives us 10% off repairs if any.
    They use a great program for scheduling that sends an alert text to give is a precise technician arrival time.

    I don't recommend them. They replaced expensive parts and changed a lot and still didn't fix our problem. Turned out they never even checked the outside unit! Problem solved by another company. I tried to report it to the BBB however they cover their butt well. They returned a small portion of my money and called it good. I still will not use them again. Not trustworthy. Be careful and get second opinions!
