On Time was not exactly "on time", either time. Twice now we've arranged our schedule to meet the technician for the annual HVAC tune up special and twice now we've had to cancel due to a no-show.
The first appt., 15 minutes before the end of the service window, the tech texted that we were next in line and we finally just called and cancelled when, 2 hours later, they still had not arrived.
The second time, there was no text and no show so we called to cancel again.
This is a local company to us as we're located in Garland and still they couldn't show within the service window.
We chose this company based on their reviews and are really disappointed they failed to stand behind their motto of being "On Time" and could not respect what working homeowners have to do to make arrangements to stay home to meet service technicians who never show up and couldn't be bothered with making a courtesy call.
Maurice was the tech that provided the sale and the service he represented the company well by being patient by taking the time to help me find the best offer and went out of his way to ensure the customer was satisfied. Great work !
Am I the only person that has had bad luck with this company? We initially agreed to have a new system put in because the guy that sold it to us is pretty awesome. But he’s just the sales guy that gets new customers and then moves on to the next. The rest is up to his team. Well aside from them messing up a few time durning the installation, including missed appointments and ruining my sofa. Those couple days that were really cold durning the winter we were confined to the master bedroom with a space heater and a newborn. Yes you read that a newborn! Now it’s time for them to service for the summer and they have now missed the appointment twice. Not one call from their scheduling department with an apology or anything. So frustrated and regretful we went with them. As a new parent I shouldn’t be having to deal with this!
06/12/2023 update they weee due to come at 12pm. It’s almost 3pm and no one has shown up. This is the 3rd missed appointment.
My Tech was Maurice. He was on time, knowledgeable, and timely with his work. He went beyond expectations in his explanation of the work that he was to perform. He texted updates with pictures at each stage of his work. The site was left clean and like new. I agreed to a membership if he would be the Tech. He is a great asset to your company and represents your brand of excellent service well!
I'm definitely pleased with Alex and Jay! They are both so efficient , fast and professional ! They took care of our plumbing issues in no time. This is our second time with On Time Experts Company and we are definitely happy with their topnotch service. Will definitely stay with them ! 👌
We were originally told that as volunteers for the police department and sheriffs office we qualified for free “Front of the Line” membership. When we called to join we were told that volunteers did not qualify. We went ahead and paid $329.40 for an annual membership on April 11th. That membership entitled us to an Air Conditioning Spring Rejuvenation and a Heating Fall Rejuvenation. At that time the earliest they could schedule our Spring Rejuvenation was May 15th. On Sunday, May 14th we were left a telephone message for us to call about our appointment. When we called back we were told that they had a number of “emergency” calls and they would call us on Monday to re-schedule. When they didn’t call on Monday, we called them on Tuesday. We were told that we were “on standby.” When we pressed them for an appointment, they said the earliest they could schedule was sometime in August. Remember this was for a “Spring Rejuvenation.” We told them we wanted to cancel our membership and have our $329.40 refunded. We were that they would forward our request to accounting. As of this writing, we have not been contacted by accounting. In the meantime, we have contested our credit card charge for the membership. UPDATE: After reading On Time Experts response, I did as they suggested and contacted their management team. They were very apologetic and told me they would not contest our request for a full refund. After asking me about our volunteer work with the police department and sheriff’s office, they told me that was “close enough” to qualify for a free “Front of the Line” membership. They also were able to schedule our Spring Rejuvenation for next week. The technician was late for our appointment due to some trouble with his truck. Once the technician arrived, he was very thorough. He found one part that needed replacing. Based on the “second chance” we gave On Time Experts I would recommend them with the assumption that our scheduling fiasco was an exception to their normal service.
Maurice was awesome. He came out and repaired the PVC pipes to my AC unit after they were leaking through my living room ceiling. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and worked quickly to resolve my issue. Highly recommend using Maurice with On Time Experts!
I fell for the $59 complete hvac tune-up & cleaning, along with the consumer’s advocacy endorsement on tv, and high google reviews. But I wish I had done my due diligence. The technician was very friendly, he informed me the tune-up would take about 2 hours. During all this time the a/c was on. He didn’t wash the blower as mentioned on the ad, but he did say my capacitor was on its last legs. Of course he offered to replace it -before it breaks down in the peak of summer- for a modest $400!!! He proceeded to offer me a discount of 50% to which I agreed. He went to his van and 10 minutes later apparently the capacitor was replaced, but again the a/c was never turned off. I cannot say with certainty wether he replaced the capacitor or not. I never received a receipt for the service, only an estimate to clean my ducts for almost $4000 and another one to add a purifier for almost $3000. After that I did my research I realized this is common practice for this company. Learned my lesson, will never called them again.
Darek came out for an air conditioning tune-up and did a great job. He was courteous and professional and went over all his findings with us. I would highly recommend Darek and the On Time Experts.
