I normally do not post negative reviews and it has taken me a month to decide to review. Our AC wasn’t cooling so I contacted Smart Air, they were prompt in their response and got to me within a week. The repairman was nice but told me I had a leak. He put some refrigerant in but said it needed to be fixed. I was quoted $2,000.00 for labor only and he would check on warranty. I asked why labor was so high and he blamed gas and “everything “ going up. I told him I would let him know. A week later my
Husband was checking our hot water heater and realized he didn’t replace one of the filters, not happy about that. Called another AC guy and they checked everything, said there was No leak but just some loose fittings…fixed for $350.00 The dishonesty is what I am so upset about and gouging customers. I spent $750 with them for a $350 problem

Smart Air Service was amazing! I had a system that wasn’t cooling properly and they fixed it quickly and professionally. I’d had a bad experience with a prior company and from the first call to Smart they were courteous, helpful, and honest. Both Hope and Nicole were great on the office side and Eris was fantastic at my house. She deftly diagnosed the problem, located the parts and, in the same day, I have cool air again. I’d highly recommend them to anyone who needs help. Outstanding company!!!

Diagnosed HVAC problem. First, they scheduled me on the same day my problem started. Christopher had to travel one hour to get to me after 5:00 PM. I appreciate him staying past normal hours to find the problem.

I've been a satisfied customer of Smart Air Service Company since April of 2017. During the cold front, my old HVAC broke down and we were without heat for only 48 hours during the inconvenient timing of the holiday weekend. But Ross the technician came in earlier than expected and he detected the heating panel problem, then got a new heating part within an hour. In a span of a few hours, our heat was back on like new. The service and part turned out to be cheaper than I expected.

On May 24, 2019, Frank B came and improved my HVAC system by quickly adding a needed freon (R-22) and replacing a bad capacitor. Now our AC is working normally, just in time for the hot holiday weekend.

Then on a stormy day, technician Frank B, masked et al, showed up on time after I called for service at 8 AM and he was here in a downpour on May 12. Three satisfactory years! Otherwise, I would not have set up that umbrella for him. (My 3rd recorded review.)

When my AC went out, I immediately got on FB to ask my friends for recommendations, and I'm so glad one friend recommended Smart Air. The technician Eddie was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the fix & pricing, and had the system back up & running in just a couple of hours. Job well done!

Smart Air Service installed our system on our new house and for the most part, it has been great. We have a large system for the house and 2 separate mini-splits for our shop and mother-in-law suite. The mini splits have both developed small leaks but were easily repaired and refilled. We've had particularly good experiences with Frank as a service technician, who is both knowledgeable and polite. UPDATE: We suffered a failure on the coil unit in one of our mini-splits. Unfortunately, the unit was in a very tight spot and could not be accessed for repair. SMART-AIR managed to completely disconnect and relocate the unit, AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!!, and make the necessary repair. Ross and his assistant spent the entire day and did a very professional, neat job. Additionally, the unit is now accessible and can be repaired much easier in the future. Nice to see a company stand by their install. UPDATE #2: Frank came back for a system check today and, as usual, was kind and professional.
