Smart Air Cooling & Heating

They installed a new hvac system in our house. They showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would do, in the time they said it would take, for the price estimated. The new system has been working for a week, heating and cooling in the typical spring weather in central Texas. Everything is as expected. Can't ask for more.

Frank and Austin of Smart Air completed the first maintenance inspection on my dual-fuel, Am Std Air Heat pump system. They also fixed a few minor problems from the install, which was done last year. They listened to my concerns, made the fixes, and completed the inspection in a little over an hour. No new problems found; the system is and has been running great: in heating mode this mid-April day (a bit unusual) but they also checked the cooling side. I would use Smart Air again for routine maintenance. Very professional.

Update 1/2023. I had to have my 2 ton condenser moved today, on short notice, so a plumber could dig up a water line that was, unfortunately, directly underneath. Cory came out, on a sunny, fairly nice no-heat day, and moved it about 3 feet. I'll skip over the technical details, but it was 4 hours of work. Clean welds, neatly done, and the system is back up and running in its new home. The office was responsive and Cory asked all the right questions, before he cut any lines. Nice work as usual from Smart Air.

My house is older, two stories, and was remodeled 20 years ago. The existing system had some frustrating limitations. Ambrose was very helped me explore many options and Cory and friends did a great job installing the system. I'm already amazed at how much better the new system is than the old one was.

The euphemism "Comfort Advisor" is patronizing, passive aggressive, and rude. This is their term for a person (not a technician) who councils you to buy a whole new AC system (i.e. a salesperson). I will not use this company for my repairs.

We asked for assistance with a non-working thermostat, which the technician promptly fixed without ordering a new one. Excellent service

Smart Air has kept us cooled and heated reliably for many years since they installed our system. Their techs have always been competent, thorough and helpful. We had a conk out on a Friday evening, and Eddie was here within a couple hours. He got us back working well enough until we could get the needed part. The house is back to comfortable, despite the 1000 degrees outside. On a routine service call for winter, Preston worked and
worked with vacuum and nitrogen pressure to clear a stubborn condensate line until he got it.

They did a good job. I was happy with their thorough inspection and just making sure we are ready for summer

Austin was very professional and patient with answering my questions and analyzing the problem. He was upfront with the repair options and pricing.

Hush was such a delight, he was on time, professional, well spoken, respectful, and knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend him enough, 5 stars all the way!

Our AC went out and they were able to do a same day appointment. Very professional and on time!
