This is the first time that I used North Georgia Heating and Air. My very old Trane heat pump stopped working. I was very pleased with the quick response I received from this company. I decided to get a new unit instead of repairing the old. North Georgia was able to get the new Trane heat pump installed the very next day. The installation team arrived when expected, were very efficient, and did a quality job. I highly recommend North Georgia Heating and Air.

I contacted this business because my home's auxiliary heater was turning on instead of the regular heater. They charged $29 for a diagnosis and the problem was that the breaker had tripped and needed to be reset. I was charged $158 by the technician to turn on a switch. They got the job done but not very ethical. I'll be calling a different business for future AC/Heater issues.

The install went well, but there was absolutely NO FOLLOW-UP after the guys left. We would have expected a phone call to see if we were happy or if there were any issues. And perhaps someone to come back to make sure it was installed and working correctly. We received no follow-up communication except for the thank you letter approximately 3 1/2 weeks after installation. We also are unsure of what we need to do for preventive maintenance to validate the warranty.

An in-person demonstration of our new unit operation would be very helpful. The thermostat control is definitely not user friendly for programming and we find the online explanation confusing. Our smartphones are connected to the thermostat, but it frequently goes off-line.
