Drip pan filled up and took the system off-line. Called first thing the next morning and they had a technician visit us by that afternoon. Very prompt service was well appreciated. Cleaned the blocked drip line. Also had a problem with a sporadic leak from a second unit, which he pvc glued previously unglued joints in the drain tube.

We have an annual maintenance agreement where they inspect, recommend and repair as needed HVAC components twice through the year - the beginning of the AC season and the beginning of the Heating season. We have been pleased with their attentiveness.

Had one of our units die one summer and they replaced the unit which has worked well for the past couple of years.

Patrick and his team were great to work with on our new system. We had a 28 year old unit and they came in, evaluated the situation, and designed a two zone set up where there used to be just one. The team was on time, polite, and they left very little evidence behind that they were even there. Patrick also followed up with us three weeks after the install and sent over the necessary paperwork for the rebates.

Our Unit is less than 5 years old. We had to replace the compressor. It was under warranty, but the Labor was $1800. We have had numerous issues with the system that was said to be the best. We paid $15,000. We had a major issue with the coils, duct issues. We have a maintenance contract with this company. They were here at the end of October. Air Filter status is showing "Poor". When we had the issue with the compressor, I spoke with the Service Manager, Jason. I asked him to look at the timeline of our issues. He said they would file a claim with Trane. I waited a month and contacted Carolina Custom Air about our unit show poor air filter status. I was told to change the filter. I told them we had it serviced at the end of October. The lady said, well they get dirty. I asked about the status of the claim, because it had been over a month. She stated they can't make claims. It has to be from the customer. I told her what Jason had told me. She said he has been there for a while. Why would the Service Manager not know the policy? I feel he was just BSing us. I would not recommend this company or Trane to anyone.

Fast, Friendly, Reliable and Fair! Would highly recommend for routine maintenance and repairs. Office team and technicians are always helpful and professional going above and beyond when any issue with our HVAC systems arise. A local company that stands behind customer service -5⭐️ rating!

CCA was very easy to work with. The Tech (Richard) was very prompt, professional and polite. Diagnosed my problem quickly and replaced the defective part in a timely manner. I would recommend this company.

We had our a HVAC looked at by Carolina Custom Air in August when we moved to Charleston and they said everything looked good. Now two months later our HVAC is not working. We called to have our HVAC looked at and they said they would be here between 12 pm to 5 pm. They never called and never showed up. A one star rating is generous.

We had an emergency with our AC late into the evening and had a technician come out within 30 minutes to diagnose the problem. Although he couldn't fix the issue that evening (specific parts weren't available on the spot), Daniel did everything to make us comfortable until the part was available. He discovered some other issues with our AC while there that we wouldn't have known otherwise. He was very accommodating and kind, end result things were fixed and working better than they had over the past two years living there. I would recommend both the company and technician we had as well as taking advantage of the maintenance program. We also had a good experience with the office staff at Carolina Custom Air

Robert came to our home and quickly determined the cause of our problem. One of the heat pumps wasn't working. He fixed it without any issues and was gone within a short period of time. Very professional. Would definitely call Carolina Custom Air, again.

I have been a loyal customer of Carolina Custom Air for years. However, that does not mean anything to them. The fact that are ac unit is not working and we are suffering means nothing. It took them a day and half for someone to call me just to tell me that it would be another two days before someone would come out to give me an estimate on a new system. I had a similar situation 3 years ago and we were out ac for 10 days! I called another company and I had multiply quotes the same day.
