Everyone that I have worked with thus far at Carolina Custom Air has been so helpful and responsive. The tech that came out for our annual service visit - Adam (I think) was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Carolina Custom Air

I have used Carolina Custom Air for a few years. And yes they are very courteous and knowledgeable in the work they perform. However, most recently they came out and performed the bi-annual maintenance inspection. And there were two items that raised some concern. 1) They did not contact me to get authorization to replace a non-failed but out of tolerance capacitor. This would not have really been an issue except for item #2. 2) The cost for said capacitor was $156. These capacitors run in the range of $12 to $40. After speaking with the Chief Maintenance Technician the reason that I was giving was that they need to make some profit and cover overhead for maintaining their stock. Now I do agree that some coverage is acceptable. However, 500% is really not acceptable. Had I been contacted and given the choice I may have considered replacing the capacitor myself as I am a qualified electrical engineer and the existing capacitor had not yet failed. They did offer an additional 15% for failure to obtain work authorization which I do appreciate. I will continue with CCA and their bi-annual service but would seriously question it if I receive another over priced part charge. My recommendation is that they make sure they receive authorization prior to performing work and also more transparency in the part pricing and overhead charging.

Robert was a very polite, knowledgeable and professional service technician. He quickly checked out the AC system and answered questions I had about the duct work. I've been using Carolina Custom Air for years and have always had a good experience.

The service techs that came out to first inspect our AC unit, then to install and then to check on it a few days later were great! Showed up exactly when they were supposed to, had the job done within a few hours, and when we called in the middle of the afternoon with a concern, showed up the same day to make sure everything was working properly! I greatly appreciate all of their hard work trying to keep us cool in the SC heat!! Thanks for everything!

We recently had a problem with our A/C. Lori Robertson was very accommodating in setting up service calls and Jason Matthews came a couple of times to correct our problem. All in all, the staff and technicians at Carolina Custom Air were very professional and did everything they could to solve our problem. We recommend Carolina Custom Air with 5 STARS!!!

Brandon and Chris were very professional and pleasant. They explained my options clearly and did not pressure me to make a decision immediately. Great service. Lori, at the office, is so friendly and helpful. Bill who did an appraisal was also very good at explaining the circumstances and helping me figure out the best value and solution.

Had Robert from Carolina Custom Air come and do my 6 month preventative maintenance service yesterday. Very nice young man who was willing to comply with all my 'house rules' while preforming his job. He arrived on time and even tried to make friends with my overly protective dachshund. I've used this company in the past and have referred them out on numerous occasions. I've always been very pleased with their expertise and knowledge.

The dispatcher was very professional and understood our immediate need. Within 30 minutes we had a technician repairing our unit. He was very knowledgeable and had the repair completed in 15 minutes. We will definitely use Carolina Custom Air if needed in the future.
