Being new to the area and lacking recommendations for a good plumber, I reached out to a national franchise plumbing operation who came out to give me an estimate. The standard of service they provided was so egregiously bad that I decided I'd rather forego having a functional bathtub instead of giving them my business. After much Google sleuthing, South Side seemed my safest bet. From calling to set up the appointment to the actual day of service, every bit of interaction was professional and downright enjoyable. Mike showed up on time and he was pleasant to have in my home, which I really value since I work from home. He diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it up without a hitch. The whole operation was quicker and more affordable than I had expected. I'm seriously pleased with all of it and will happily reach out to South Side again the next time something in my fixer-upper goes soupy.

Ryan came today to install a new gas, wall heater. It was a replacement for a very old one I had. He was very curteous, friendly and respectful. After installation, he explained to my son and I how the heater works. I never have to wait a long period of time for South Side Plumbing to address my issues. Thank you South Side Plumbing and Ryan for a great job and tremendous customer service.

I was able to get a someone to look at my AC unit the day after I called. They came on time and immediately got to work. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. South Side Plumbing was absolutely AMAZING! My family and I were away for the weekend. When we came home I noticed our house was cold. I called South Side Plumbing answering service. Within minutes Ryan returned my call. He walked my husband through what could be the problem. When the problem was not resolved over the phone, Ryan immediately scheduled us for service Monday morning. It was determined we need a new furnace. With the days and night hitting the low 20’s with windchills in the teens, John from South Side Plumbing did everything in his power to secure a furnace for my house. The techs did an amazing job of installing, explaining and cleaning up. They arrived on time and stayed until the house heated up. They were extremely friendly and answered any question I had. I would strongly recommend South Side Plumbing for heating, cooling, and plumbing services.

Of course the water heater sprung a leak during the one week when my spouse was out of town, but South Side had my back -- they diagnosed the problem over the phone without being patronizing, and had a quote ready immediately. They installed the replacement within two days of me telling them "yes let's do it", and came in under budget. They've been our plumbing & heating maintenance folks for years, but this is the first time I've dealt with them directly, and I know I'll be in good hands should I ever have to do it again.

They replaced my whole HVAC system and did a great job. They arrived on time, showed and explained how everything worked. Did everything in two days and cleaned up as if they were never there. Also gave me a fair price.

South side plumbing did a first class job on installing my new Trane furnace. A great price and very quick turnaround with great people far exceeded my expectations. The installation crew were very professional, thorough and efficient. I look forward to using them again.

Very professional, both during getting an estimate (Tim) and installing the hybrid water heater (Ryan and Cody). The installation was done in one day and the guys cleaned everything up afterwards. The heater works great. Definitely recommend.

Mike, the plumber that South Side Plumbing sent on our service call, was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. I was very happy with the service. We use both the plumbing and HVAC service and have recommended them to friends and family. We have always been very satisfied with their service.

I hired multiple times for some smaller projects and they did fine although was told some of their practices were questionable. I had them for a big project that included excavating a pipe behind my house and their excavator hit the foundation buckling and causing thousands of dollars to fix. They told me after the fact that it was always a possibility of happening and that they would not fix the damages or give me their insurance information to file a claim.

I was in the house at the time of the event. I felt an impact from the second floor. The opinion of questionable practice is from a third party plumber I got a second opinion from for work that needed done.
