I called on Thursday to schedule a service call to replace a leaking hot water heater. South Side Plumbing & Heating scheduled the appointment for the next morning. The plumbers arrived a little later than planned due to problems with their truck, however, the installation went like clockwork. The plumbers completed their work within an hour and a half and the work area was left in good order. South Side Plumbing & Heating have completed multiple jobs for me, all with high quality work.

I recently had these guys snake my toilet drain at my business. After opening the bathroom back up to public use a few days later. It was clogged again when my partner called they didn't guarantee the work at all... they wanted to charge us full price and an additional price for sending the camera down to inspect the work. he was rude and dismissive to her and didn't even offer to discount the second cleaning. The price was definitely on the higher end of the scale but i accepted it in the hopes the work would merit the costs... well it didn't and the fact that they didn't even offer a discount was the clincher for me. Understanding the nature of the problem (plumbers certainly know this) one would accept that the first try may not be completely successful and may need to be addressed again therefore when getting this procedure done I strongly recommend that you get a service that includes a camera inspection afterwards to avoid this from happening to you! I paid less for the procedure with my second plumbing company that included a camera inspection than i did with the SS Plumbing and they did the job right and also guaranteed the work. I am a business owner and i accept that they charge more for a commercial service call than they do for a home toilet for absolutely no reason whatsoever (it is no different a machine) but I will not accept shoddy work and bad treatment. Some business get bloated and callous and care little for there customers and only for the quick buck forgetting that over time if you do that to enough folks you wont be around for long. I love to support local small independent businesses but it is clear that mindset is not reciprocated in this case look elsewhere for your service!

South Side Plumbing has worked for us over the past few years. We finally had Chad and Neil come and repair our pipes for good. They were professional and very clean. They made sure to clean up each day before they left. Sometimes it’s intrusive to have people in your home, but they were great! We would certainly use South Side Plumbing again!

John was excellent!! Yet another terrific experience with the folks at South Side Plumbing & Heating. John arrived early, was very courteous, immediately identified the issues, discussed them with me honestly, and was done within an hour. All around excellent service!!!

This company was recommended to me by an insurance company originally. This is the second time I’ve used them, and there is zero hassle. Bill is very responsive through email, which is convenient for sharing pictures and discussing price, etc. They show up on time, they know their job really well, and they’re in and out of here very quickly.

I came home to two inches of water in my basement on Friday. Rich from South Side came within a few hours and determined that the flooding was caused by a failed water heater. Today Marcus and his assistant Andrew came and replaced the water heater. They were here promptly as promised and had my new heater installed in a few hours. They did a great job! I've used Buerkle and South Side for many services over the years including installation of a new furnace and A/C unit. I'd recommend the service to my friends in Mt. Lebanon.

I had a leak in my AC condensation drain line and was able to set up an appointment with SSP&H within a few days. They diagnosed the issue and replaced the line within an hour of being on-site and even gave me a few tips to prevent some issues in the future. Great service and friendly tech!

I had two water valves replaced in my home and the plumber from South Side did a great job! He arrived on time, worked steadily all day. He was very respectful in his interactions with us, cleaned up afterwards, and took time to give me any needed explanations. For one of the valves, it involved opening up the wall behind the shower. Fortunately, there was paneling that could be removed. At the end of the day the plumber sealed up the wall and replaced the paneling perfectly. I would call them again.
