Today a technician came to my home to maintain the heating system. I was told that the fan is bad and need to be replaced. Also bad was the gas valve. I was told by Custom Aire that the total cost to replace both parts plus labor would be $1,750. I had a private technician (a family friend) came over and looked at the system. We went to Stahl company to check if these parts are bad. We found out that the gas valve was bad but the fan was not bad. To replace the gas valve plus labor, I paid $280. This is wrong and need to be published. I will not do business with Custom Aire anymore.

The igniter was successfully fixed. The last igniter was installed last winter and was not the correct part because the technician did not have the correct part . So the gerryrigged part lasted one season. I was due for a scheduled maintenance but gave up the appointment for someone who had no heat . I had to stay at a motel , at my cost , because the part which would have been fixed on the scheduled maintainance was not repaired. A fan motor was needed and ordered and came in but I had to wait another week for it to be installed . Superior service would have put the motor with a runner and had a technician here to install it . The initial installation of heater and air conditioner was impeccable but by putting off installing new parts because of other clients and by putting off scheduled maintenance to take care of no heat calls this 15 year customer was put in a position of having a worn out part fail. I understand businesses have to make profits . ART

Let me start with Home Advice who sent three contacts for HVAC duct cleaning. Once I talked to Justin at Custom-Aire he wanted to show me the ducting before he quoted, and to see if the ducts required cleaning so I could make an informed decision.The decision was made to accomplish the task. Throughout the review process i was inform professionally about condition, things that needed immediate attention and professional care that would taken in this effort. This made me feel more comfortable about not only the system which will be cared for properly. The professional care that was taken to service the system was amazing their skills and ability to the job at hand exceed what others may have done. Custon Aire can be the vendor who takes pride in their work and service they provide. I will recommend and utilize Custom-Aire for my HVAC concerns. Thanks for doing such a great job.

I contacted Custom Aire in July about an odor in an air conditioning unit. After a number of missteps in which the technicians were sent without the proper materials, the unit was finally cleaned. I paid for the cleaning. The odor persisted. After being promised a number of remedies by the owner, the problem was never resolved. These were just stall tactics so that I would give up. It is now December and the owner no longer acknowledges his responsibility.What an unethical company!!!
