Western Heating & Cooling is my go to company for both heating and cooling. On a Wednesday I had a routine maintenance check on the air conditioner with everything in good shape. I came home on Thursday to discover it wasn't working properly. Called them after 6:30 pm, the phone was picked up on the third ring, explained what happened and I had the first appointment the next day. Jacob arrived before 8:30, fixed a minor issue and was gone by 9:30. Everyone was apologetic, very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

TLDR: more service, less sales, reasonable price.

For starter, the secretary didn't waste my time with tons of useless questions and didn't have me to repeat my last name over and over. They focused more on my address and availability and understood that I may not know many tech aspects of the AC system. The technician appeared on the pre-scheduled time, had all the tools handy, found the leak and fixed it. My system is a bit old, about 18 years, but still in a good condition and I preferred to repair it rather than change. The technician mentioned it, but didn't really push for the sale (others just declined to fix the AC unit), which is often a dealbreaker for me. I love the service and going to recommend them and use later on for my furnace as well

We had a great experience with Western on a recent furnace replacement. From quote, installation, and follow up customer service, every aspect was easy and positive. Very responsive! A few items were quickly fixed. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a good HVAC company.

We had AC problem on Sunday, and called Columbia the next day Monday but they were booked until July. So, I called Western and they could come out to help on Wednesday. The technician Jacob arrived on time and he is professional. He fixed the AC problem around 1.5 hours. I highly recommend Western.

Can't say enough good things. Doug didn't try to up sale me. Just sold me what I needed. Darcy in the office patiently answered all my 101 questions. I was esp. worried about my 4 cats getting out. I didn't have to worry, they were very careful opening and shutting the doors. My heat pump is up and running in one day. Very glad I went with Western. I Recommend them highly.

Michael from Western was very thorough and professional in providing maintenance check-ups for heater and AC. Overall experience for arranging an appointment, getting a quote, and asking questions was satisfactory. Will continue to use Western in the future.

Jacob was very helpful, gave me lots of tips n tricks to maintain my AC unit and even gave me some advice on how to be proactive in AC unit replacements in the future. 5/5 - thanks for the job well done.

Jeremy, David and their assistant removed and replaced my HVAC system. They arrived on time and left earlier than I had expected. They were pleasant, professional and courteous. Their work area was left cleaner than when they arrived. It is difficult for me to imagine how I could be more satisfied.

They were on time, on budget, and got everything done in a timely manner. Overall, just a very professional experience. Left the work area clean. Would highly recommend!

Jeremy, Dave and Josh did a wonderful job of removing our old failing heating and cooling system and replacing it with a great new one. They were very professional and polite and gave us a run down of how everything worked at the end of the install. The work started and ended in the time that was estimated.

We have used Western Heating and Cooling for our twice yearly maintenance for many years and have had no complaints.
