Jamie the lead service technician is the reason this 5-star review is not a 1-star review like I intended. We had a very frustrating experience with the heat pump store that had us never wanting to use this company again and one person changed all of that, in fact I signed up for their yearly maintenance program. We found mold in our bedroom unit and called right away to have it deep cleaned. The Service manager who we talked to told us "its probably not mold" and sent a technician who took one look at the mold and said "sorry I am not trained in doing the deep clean that you need to get rid of the mold" I am here to do the yearly maintenance to the exterior of the unit . So at the end of the service which wasn't cheap we still had mold blowing into the room we sleep. The technician was friendly and professional and apologized for not taking care of the issue. We called to ask the Service manager why someone was sent that wasn't capable of dealing with the issue we specifically called about. I am sure this person has many strengths in life but customer service isn't one of them, we were met with a defensive combative attitude and a conversation that just went around and around and led to no resolution, I asked to speak with a manager and was told they would call me back and never did. We had to call back to schedule a person to do the deep cleaning, there was no effort to make it happen sooner for us considering it wasn't our fault someone was sent who wasn't able to get rid of the mold. We waited another few weeks. We had made up our minds that after we had the issue resolved we would never use the Heat Pump store again. Jamie showed up and without me mentioning any negative interactions we had with the company, he apologized and said he knows the issue we called about wasn't taken care of the first time and that it must have been frustrating. Just that statement put me in a new mindset and had me feel heard for the first time. He was so personable and his approach made me realize how crucial customer interactions are to the success of a business, Jamie is someone I would want working for me if I owned a company! Anyone with a few skills can make a customer happy, but to turn a customer around from very displeased to now a loyal customer is something not many can do.

We had the heat pump store maintain our mini splits last year, but this year we had them enhance our system. We added another heat pump and wall unit to our home. I have to say working with the heat pump store has been really great. Everyone who I met was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this company.

We had to have a last minute servicing of our heat pump units due to the sale and inspection of our home. We received short notice that we needed to have them serviced by a certain date. Although they had a full schedule, they were able to get us on their schedule and come out for the annual service with pretty short notice. Jamie, the service technician, did a great job and was very efficient, as well. I highly recommend them for the Heat Pump's themselves, which they installed, as well as their great customer service.

We were introduced to the heat pump store some years ago when we shifted from wood stoves and forced air wood furnace. It was a big step for us.
We have four interior units in the residence fed by two exterior units. We also have one interior unit n a separate building office studio space. All units are Mitsubishi.

We have found the company, their owners, employees to be professional and responsive to help meet our needs. We have had disconnects and re connections during building renovations. We have been fortunate to receive very good helpful tech help over the phone in a couple instances.

We are a bit dismayed that the wondeful help is dispatched from Portland Metro. That is a minor complaint about this company that stands by their product and service. We have recommended them to more people I can remember. It's a great outfit to deal with.

My Daikin heat pump was installed July 6, just in time for the heat wave. The unit works beautifully and is very quiet. I love it. High compliments to the installation team. They were efficient, clean and respectful. The follow up with my salesperson, Tim was also excellent.
I couldn't have had a better outcome and highly recommend this product and The Heat Pump Store.

From the first contact on the phone to our salesman meeting with Earl and ultimately a super clean and quick installation and us basking in our now heated basement our experience was top notch with The Heat Pump Store.
They didn’t try to oversell us (like two other popular companies did) and they were so prompt in communication and getting everything done for us for our Christmas guests.
The guys that did the installation were courteous, clean and friendly to our whole family, including our over loving dogs.
I would and already have suggested the Heat Pump Store to others.

I just had a split ductless unit installed in my condo, and I have nothing but good things to say about the Heat Pump store. They made the process so easy to work with them. From getting an estimate, to scheduling, through the installation everything has been seamless and effortless on my end. Everyone employee I encountered on the phone and in person was friendly, competent, and confident in the both the product and the installation. I would highly recommend The Heat Pump Store to anyone and everyone looking into ductless heating and/or cooling.

I've owned a heat pump/mini-split system for a few years and to be on the safe side I signed up for the annual maintenance program. I highly recommend this. Last year and this year, both techs (Brian this year, and a person whose name I've sadly forgotten last year) were wonderful. THOUGHTFUL about being in my house (both my furniture and covid concerns were addressed beautifully), EFFICIENT in their work, FRIENDLY, and COOPERATIVE. I have the greatest respect for the training and way these tech people conduct themselves. And I'll add a shout out for the office people too who organized the appointment. Thanks all of you!
