This was a great experience, starting from scheduling the appointment to the work that was done. When I called, Michelle was so kind and worked to fit me into the schedule the same day I called. Mike and Ken came out to do the work and they were great! They were personable, polite, and thoroughly explained each step of the process. Estimates were given before anything was done, and cost of service was reasonable. Overall I am very happy and look forward to calling them for maintenance services going forward.

I really appreciate the time & detail in checking the gas valve on our water heater. Thank you for being so responsive! We also had Heat Relief install this water heater a few years ago and repair 3 gas leaks in the main line. Always quality and friendly service! Highly recommend!

    The technician was fantastic!

Their scheduler and home office communication was horrendous. We were scheduled between 12 & 4. I called to confirm two days prior and at 3 the day of. I was told they would be later than 4, then a call that they couldn't make it.

They rebooked for the following day. A total waste of a day waiting. Capacity planning is not easy and that is why managing it closely is important.

We were one of the lucky houses whose AC failed after the heat wave. Heat Relief worked us in quickly, everyone was very kind and responsive. The tech was professional and courteous and fixed the problem quickly. Definitely recommend!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We had worked with Heat Relief previously and had purchased a service agreement with them (the "Ultimate Savings Club"), so when our furnace stopped working I called. The first technician came out to diagnose the problem, replaced the thermostat, the transformer blew and he replaced that too. He did not seem to really know what the problem was, and I did not feel comfortable with his work, so while he was still there I called the company to express my concern. The company assured me he had many years of experience. I ended up paying for the thermostat, transformer, and service visit cost (with discount for having a service agreement) but the problem was NOT fixed. The technician said we needed wire replaced.

The next day another technician replaced wire. That didn't work either, and that technician said he did not feel comfortable charging us for the wire, as it didn't fix the problem. He did not charge us. That afternoon Heat Relief sent another technician. He also couldn't fix the furnace/heat pump but to his credit, he bypassed our heat pump so we could use "emergency" electric heat.

A week later, Heat Relief sent their "top guys”, they left within an hour saying all was fixed and that a wire was connected that shouldn't have been. Within an hour the heat was no longer working. I was beyond frustrated at this point.

When I called the office I was told that this time, they knew what was wrong, and quoted parts cost of double what I had already paid, and they also insisted I pay for the wiring that did not fix the problem from the very first week (by now it was 3 weeks later). I said no, we would not pay the wiring charge as it did not fix the problem and even their own technician did not feel we should pay.

The owner then called me and was extremely rude and insisted no further work would be done until the wiring charge was paid. When I mentioned that I was not feeling comfortable even with the first technician that worked on this issue, he insisted that since I am not a heating specialist I could not possibly know, and completely dismissed my comment. I shocked and said told him that at this point, I wasn't sure I wanted to move forward with his company, and he retorted that he wasn't sure he wanted to work with me. End of conversation.

I called back and left a message that we would not be moving forward with their company. We received a bill in the mail for the wiring cost, and we replied to the company that per our service guarantee we purchased, we invoke the Ultimate Savings Satisfaction Guarantee, which states "If you are not completely satisfied with our people, our performance or anything to do with our company, we will refund 100% of your money."

Happily we found another company to work with that was honest, professional and able to fix our furnace/heat pump issue at a lower cost than Heat Relief had quoted.

Brandon did an excellent job explaining the tests he was performing on the AC unit, and describing what he was repairing. He was very thorough, detail-oriented, and successfully repaired the unit.

hired to install a furnace and an electric water heater. we added on hooking up to city gas and the gas lines for the range. they didn't hook up the power or plumbing for the water heater (all the plumber needed was one simple connector). they neglected to complete the air ducts. the furnace main gas shut off wasn't able to be turned off because where it was mounted, the nob hit the furnace. the overflow pipes for the water heater were installed uneven and look terrible. it took me multiple calls to figure out how to get my gas turned on and it turns out they never finished the job. the salesman stopped answering my calls. I was blown off several times when they were supposed to come out. when a tech finally came out, I could hear him talking on the phone and clearly didn't know what he was doing. the owner showed and told me that his permit only allows one appliance hook up. would have liked to have known they couldn't install the water heater before I hired them. the owner barely seemed to know what he was talking about. I'm not sure what I even paid for. and to top it all off I couldn't pass city inspection of their work.

I have had a tremendous experience with Heat Relief. Being in Sales/Account Management and having a high level of "handyness" myself, I have high standards for customer service and the quality of work completed.

Heat relief has been excellent on both fronts. Their bid was one of the lowest received, their turn times were quick, the team was highly courteous and friendly, and the quality of the work has been excellent.

    Very happy with Heat Relief.

Everyone at Heat Relief are very friendly and professional. This is my 3rd year having them perform tune-ups for my AC and Heater and I never had any bad experience. Mike who does my AC tune-up each year provides me with helpful tips and advices. I would highly recommend them for any heating and cooling services.

We discovered our crawl space is too small for the work we had intended. Heat Relief was on-time, professional, and up-front about the costs. We would not hesitate to use their services in the future.
