Climate Control

My HVAC system did not work on one of the hottest day in Portland. I was desperate in finding a company to provide emergency services. After dozens of calls and unsympathetic and apatheric responses, I got an reassuring call from Climate Control staff informing me they will have a technician contact me the same day. I couldn't believe it. Shortly thereafter, Steve, the technician called and informed me of his estimated time of arrival. He called again to gave me a more firmed eta and arrived on time. He quietly asked the appropriate questions to help in the diagnosis, approached the problem, explained to me in detail the cause and proceeded to fix it. It is now fixed and I have found a reliable company to service all my hvac & heating issues. 10 out of 5 stars!!! Steve Rockelman, you are a credit to your company. I hope they treat you well.

We have had amazing experiences with Climate Control. Grant & Dean have both been out for recent service appointments & made the experience painless & even enjoyable. Their expertise shone through.

We have used Climate Control for over 15 years and they are always professional and courteous. They installed my current HVAC system including an air exchanger for my wife’s chemical sensitivities. I highly recommend them for both installation and maintenance.

10/21/22 Update: Ian McIntosh performed a superlative Winter PM. I like to understand the technical aspects and, when asked, he walked me through his process in great detail. Another professional job by Climate Control personnel.

I received service to repair HVAC in early July for which I gave them 5star review. Today I called and the male receptionist insisted that I am not an existycustomer and no record of my address, phone number or history of service. He was quite insistent. I was so frustrated in not being able to put in an order for service to look into my a/c is not bringing down the temp. I spent the last 3-4 hours looking for the receipt. I finally found it but it is after hours. The lady at the other end was so unhelpful. The technicians are great, the people who answer the phone is so unprofessional and not helpful. I guess, I will have to stand inline tomorrow am. 😤😤

I had this company out to repair my dehumidifier, and they said they couldn't do it. I thought it was unethical to charge me for a service they could not do. They should not have come out of they can't provide the service.

I called Climate Control when my furnace stopped working. They answered my call right away and got someone out that afternoon to check it. It was DEAN & he was fabulous. He called before coming to estimate his time & he was there when he said. He was patient & explained everything out to me, answered all my questions & gave me a plan of action. I am SO IMPRESSED with this company. They did what they said they would do, they were on time, respectful, cognizant of no heat in the winter, & formulated a good plan of action. I will definitely call them again when I have a need. (Dean deserves a raise!)

Dennis did a great job repairing and inspecting the HVAC system in my new condo! Not only did he return to make sure everything was working properly, he also taught me about how the system works and showed me some cool things I can do with the thermostat! I really appreciate Dennis taking the extra time to share some of his knowledge with me!

Everyone at Climate Control is amazing. While other companies had a 4 week wait they came out THE SAME DAY I called! Chris was amazing! He quickly and properly diagnosed the issue and came back to complete the repair after ordering a new part. Our furnace is over 20 years old and they new exactly what to do to save the day.

My parents used Climate Control for a furnace repair. They would not stop raving about Chris. They were in complete comfort after his visit. I want to thank Chris for taking care of my parents so well. He was courteous, on time, and explained in detail the issues. My parents felt safe and were comfortable knowing Chris was the one working on their furnace. My father was also very happy that Chris followed PPE and CDC guidelines when in our home. (He wore a mask, gloves, and footwear protection.)
10/10 would recommend Climate Control, but 100/10 would recommend requesting Chris for your services.

I purchased our HVAC system from Climate Control about a decade ago and I always use them for any repairs and my ongoing maintenance. During the recent heat wave (116F in the Pacific NW is no joke) my capacitor went out and the soonest a tech could come out was around 2 weeks out. Climate Control had the part I needed in stock and he waited after hours for me to drive down and pick it up so I could get my AC working again. That was greatly appreciated!
