Jeff is the BEST! He was efficient, professional, super friendly, and got our pipes repaired so we're up and running again. I cannot speak highly enough of Jeff - he clearly cares for his customers and understands the stress they're feeling.

Great service and professional all the way. Dug up sewer in front yard took out old pipe and put in new. Our yard looks untouched! He put back the sod neat as can be. James is very knowledgeable, diligent and thorough. We called late on a Sunday after our sewer backed into the house and James came out within the hour, figured out the issue, and came back on Monday to finish.

My Family Member is a Plummer and He told Me I was almost a victim of Price Gouging on a reverse osmosis system installation with "push in place" tubes and fittings and a self tapping drain adapter. I installed one myself last year at my Mothers house and it took me 40min and I am an ER Nurse not a Plummer. Mr. Router in Bend Oregon wanted $425 for a 30 to 45 min job. I paid for the reverse osmosis system so, that was not included in the Quote. I had to take a hard pass on that Gouging. According to the Plummer's I talked to a fair price is $250 to $325. That is not the worst of it, the guy who was out there took my reverse osmosis system with Him and told me if I wanted it I could pick it up at His office all the way in Bend after Thanksgiving. He refused to drive back and return my property even after I told Him I had another guy on His way to do the job. This Guy should be fired immediately! It is a good thing I don't treat my Patients like this Guy has treated me! Now He wont even answer my many phone calls to arrange an alternative pick up plan. Based on all the statements on Mr. Router website This Mr. Router Employee and His "I could care less attitude" are shocking to say the least. Please terminate this price gouging reverse osmosis stealing individual to restore your companies dignity. This Guy is bordering criminal behavior in my opinion. Seriously what are we as customers supposed to do.....let the Mr. Router Plummer price gouge us.... or be the victim of His vengeful behavior...think twice before you say "NO" to Mr. Router in Bend Oregon or you will be subject to their childish Shenanigan's. I said no to the Gouging and He took my System that I purchased at Home Depot and refused to return it until after the Holiday, is that not Stealing????

Life Cycle

Excellent experience. Prompt communication and service on a Sunday. James is an incredible human being and very good at his job. We had a clog in our line leading to our septic tank. James had us back in action in less than 2 hours from when we placed our original call. Thank you James!

I had a major issue on a Sunday over the 4th of July weekend in Bend Oregon. As is typical of Bend, no one is responsive over weekends or holidays. After trying two companies that I have used before (and trust me, I'm tempted to list them here) neither one of them responded. I then was able to reach a tech at Mr. Rooter (James). James reached out to me within an hour of a message going through their dispatch. He took the time to walk me through several issues over the phone so that I could stop the bleeding, but no stores were open where he could source the part needed for the system. His dispatcher reached out to me first thing Monday morning and James was out by 2:00 and fixed the broken pipe and valve. One of my previous landscapers finally responded Tuesday morning, and the plumber has still yet to return my call. Thank you Mr. Rooter. While it is nice to use local companies, in Bend their free time is more important to them than tending to their customer base, so the nationwide company won the day. I probably paid a little more but you can rely on Mr. Rooter.

I never write reviews online, but I've been so disappointed with Mr. Rooter that I had to share. I scheduled service for a Sunday, and the receptionist assured me that Mr. Rooter doesn't charge more on weekends. The plumber came and completed the job, but did not provide an estimate or quote even though we were in touch via phone - he just did the work and handed me the bill. The bill was about 3 times more than I expected to pay, and I was charged almost $200 for cutting a simple 2'x2' hole in my wall (which I could have easily done on my own). I got in touch with the owner of the company to express my concern with the bill, and he was kind and responsive over the phone. In the end though, he brushed off my concern that I hadn't been quoted (after admitting that yes, it is company policy to do so), and then made some offhand comment about how I DID receive service on the weekend, so I should be grateful. Overall, Mr. Rooter did not reimburse nearly enough for the overcharge, and I had to put up with the owner of the company trying to weasel himself out of the situation. Not cool. :(

We had a whole house plumbing problem on a Friday afternoon and Mr Rooter got us the technician James out to our house in approx 2 hours! He cleared up the problem and was able to give us a heads up that the problem was bigger than we anticipated. We have since verified that with our Septic folks. VERY appreciative!

Got the message from the City of Bend that there is some water leak somewhere. I could not find anything, so I called these guys up at about 12 PM, and they were there to inspect every inch of the property later on that SAME DAY (crawlspace, inside, outside, etc.) Jeff walked me through everything on the phone. He is the man. More on that later. I own 3 rental properties and operate some remotely so I deal with random things like this over the phone all the time, and Jeff was by far the best dude I have ever dealt with. Most people it's just like "alright, it's going to be this much, but you may have issues down the road, we're not sure." Not Jeff though. He was very thorough in explaining everything he checked, what he went over, and overall it was a great experience. I wish I could have all issues like this go so smoothly. I would say it was a bit pricey, but it is Bend after all. In any case, I feel like I am getting my money's worth with these guys. These are who you want coming to your home to help you out!

Beau Shelton with Mr. Rooter is the best in the biz! His "can do" attitude saved us thousands by removing a stubborn clog from the middle of a 300' pond irrigation line. Where others failed he succeeded, under a tight timeline and stayed within our budget. Huge props to Beau and the Mr. Rooter team!
