Airco Service

Do not use this"company" for servicing your home. Let me explain what the $129 tuneup is. A carwash for the ac unit and a filter replacement. I had already replaced the filters 2 weeks prior. If your capable of cleaning out your own unit then skip it. No invoice provided. I bought the "year membership" but after discovering the poor service i wanted my money back for the membership 3 days after i paid for it. Did not refund the 70 dollars between the tuneup and the membership. It is a scam. Plain and simple. Avoid at all cost. Most hvac companies charge 80 to 100 dollars for a tuneup and perform more than a simple cleaning. This company kept the money i paid them even though I never used the year membership service. 3 days after purchase. Stay away.

Used them to service two units on my residential home. Within a month the compressor on my downstairs unit stopped working. I called and spoke to wonderful customer service personnel however, even though I paid for the 24/7 service up front, none of the technicians were available for at least a week. Seems like a scam. I called another heating and air company and they dispatched a guy right away, identified the problem within 10 minutes, and had a solution. I’ll be calling today to get my yearly membership premium back from AirCo.

My generator stopped working during the last snow we had and I was not happy with the other company that installed it, so I looked at reviews and decided on Airco. My appointment was set for the next week by my choice which was a shock that i didn't have to wait two or three weeks! The guys were professional and I felt very confident that they were honest and knowledgeable. He gave me choices in what he could do, even came back to tell me that a part did not need to be replaced which decreased my bill by $200! I will continue to call Airco.

I can’t say enough positive about this experience! Rigby came out the day I called about out AC problems. He diagnosed and corrected the issue immediately! He took photos of our current equipment and the attic area. He explained issues that he identified as being a problem and offered insight into resolution of the issues. He was polite, courteous and professional! I will never use any other company!

They showed up on time and took the time necessary to both properly repair the issue and educated me on what to look for and measures I could take to prevent it from happening again. They went out of their way to insure I got the best deal possible on the repair. Would definitely use again for my all hvac needs.

I called them because I figured my unit needed a shot of freon, which I can't do. I was told it would be a $79 fee to look at it, but if I chose to have it fixed that would count towards the repair. I was not offered the opportunity to approve the repair. He just came in and said it was a bad capacitor and he cleaned out the compressor. I could have replaced the capacitor myself. So, $212 for replacing a $12 part (I googled the cost of the part) and cleaning out the unit is quite a lot of money I think, but since he had already done the repair, what could I do at that point? Can't have him unfix it. Update - Amy called me to explain the charges and told me I wouldn't be able to find a dual run capacitor for $12 and she was correct. It's almost $20. I found my exact one by putting in the part number from my bad capacitor that he took out.

Martin is the Most Professional service technician I have ever met. Additionally, He adjusted the dampers and we are getting excellent air flow through out the house.
