I love this company. They installed my system several years ago and do all the maintenance and repairs. Today it needed repaired and they sent Nick who was very knowledgeable and professional. He had the problem solved and repaired quickly. I wouldn't use any other company.

I did not personally use this company, but contacted them for my senior citizen mother who's system was very aged and in need of replacement. She has told me that she is very happy with her new furnace and everyone she dealt with were very professional and courteous. She would highly recommend to anyone.

Two man crew was professional, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend air duct cleaning from this crew.

Update: we received a call from Ryan regarding all of our issues and he was very understanding and apologetic. It appears the issues we encountered were mostly caused by the new call service the company has been using as opposed to the company itself. There was a lack of communication between the call center reps we spoke to and the techs that came out. Ryan explained all of this and made sure he had all of the information needed to service our furnace and scheduled a time to come out that following week. Willie was the tech that came out and he did a great job and was a very personal guy! If you can get past the call center, the company is great and ran by a really good guy.

Absolutely horrible company to work with. I called to set up an appointment and told the rep our system was an oil heater, making sure to specify this as I know most companies are used to working with gas or electric. I was told it was no problem and the price would be the same as regular service.

Friday rolls around and the first tech that comes out tells me he doesn’t have the tools needed to service oil furnaces and the office didn’t note the system was oil. He also told me the price was more after I specifically asked when making the appointment. He called the office and set up a new appointment for Monday, also noting this is an oil system and a tech that does oil furnaces needs to be the one that comes out.

Monday rolls around and a new tech comes out. The same thing happened, he can’t service the furnace because no one told him it was an oil system. This was after a different tech had come to the house (and called the office themselves) and I had already told the office initially.

I called Monday afternoon to schedule yet another time for someone to come out and was told a service manager will call me. Never heard back from anyone. I call the next day and was told someone will call me the following day when the office is open. No word the following day either. My husband called several times to get someone on the phone and no one we talked to could schedule an appointment or give us any answers as to why we’ve had two techs out and nothing accomplished. Also, it turns out the last tech to come out marked our house as having services completed when no work was ever actually done.

A NIGHTMARE to work with. Every customer service person I speak to does not have a number for the company itself. Everyone keeps saying they are leaving messages for someone to call back but no one calls back and are unable to transfer me to a manager/supervisor. Unbelievably frustrating way to run a business. I would give zero stars if I could.

I felt like I was being taken advantage of while I was in a vulnerable place! I got a sales pitch when I needed a repairman!

I don't typically write bad reviews but this one is warranted. I own a 1350 sq ft home in Beavercreek, OH which is heated by a 2-year old Trane Heat Pump with an Allied Air Handler which has a 10kw Electric emergency heat kit.

Since buying the home 16 months ago, I've had issues with it not heating well below 26F. I have called out the original HVAC installer a couple of times with no real satisfaction. With the winter storm barreling down on the Miami Valley, which would bring the temperatures down to 0F, I knew I would be in for at least a few days where the inside temperature would fall to below 50F in my home. Having a heating system run 24-hours a day, driving monthly winter DP&L bills to >$280 was just too much to deal with.

I decided to call a few HVAC companies within 10 miles to see if someone could come out ASAP and help me. Extreme Heat was first up! They sent their self proclaimed top Heat Pump guy. He visited my attic, where the Air Handler is, and determined that it was too tight to even attempt a repair on the emergency heat. He tben quoted me $7900 for a whole new system and some duct work.

Then he calls me back 15 minutes later to tell me a bigger more efficient Amana unit could be bought for $12,000 with a 5-year 0.0% loan. I decided to gather 3 quotes totak from Amana certified dealers to see what kind of pricing I could get.

A painter was in the home later in the day and overheard my wife and I talking. He suggested his HVAC. I call Dave's Heating and Cooling in Xenia, OH and Dave comes to the home straight away and propmtly took the "can't repair the system due to tight space in the attic" as a personal challenge.

The Heat Was fixed with a <$200 part and an out the door price of $400 including shipping and labor. Dave used a nice torch to melt the ice buildup on my heat pump which helped a bunch. Extreme Heating billing withdrew their claim for a service charge when I brought this to their attention..

AVOID EXTREME HEATING AND CALL DAVE!!!

The guys were very kind and professional, and moved through my house quietly and efficiently. I work from home and had it not been for my 3 dogs seeking attention (or hiding) from them I wouldn’t have known they were here-other than the sound of the equipment which was not loud at all. The service and fees were explained in detail upfront. I have been using this company for 12 years and highly recommend them!

Everyone at Extreme Heating and Air was so helpful and quick to respond. Shaun walked us through replacement options and made sure we found a system that would work best for our family! The install team was great. Joey, Tyler and Matt walked through everything we needed to know about our new system and thermostat and answered questions about our concerns. Thank you all!
