Extreme Heating & Air Conditioning

So very impressed by the people over at Extreme's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning.

Extreme was recommended to me by a friend who has had many years of excellent service from them, both at home and at his place of business.

They have been taking care of the spring/fall maintenance check-ups. Well a week ago we had our first dose of heat and humidity and it was clear that the house was not being cooled. I booked an appointment for Extreme to come and check things out.

As I suspected, our aging heat-pump had finally kicked the bucket. It was time for a replacement. And right away too. We were hosting a surprise party in 2 days. Though they were already busy with the rush to get a/c systems installed that juggled everything to come out to our place before our party. Everything installed in the nick of time. WOW. And the best part... the price. Even though we needed everything done yesterday they gave us a great price. (I had done some research the previous summer knowing that the heat-pump's days were numbered - the price was very very competitive).

What I love about Extreme: The People!

Ben has been out to our home for the maintenance several times. He is extremely friendly and personable. Very happy to answer my very many questions (I'm curious about everything). When it was clear that we were going to need to replace the heat-pump Ben helped determine what would be the best course of action and the best a/c system to replace the heat-pump. It was going to be tricky - the furnace & a/c equipment is stuffed into a small closet. The proper a/c unit for our home would need to be upgraded from the inadequate 3 ton unit to a 3.5 ton unit making parts BIGGER. But Ben and one of his colleagues found a way to make everything fit and work.

Joe and Danny, the installers, arrived on a Friday morning at 7:30. They hit the ground running and went about the business of getting things done. Again, extremely friendly and fun guys. When you have workmen in your home for almost 8 hours they need to be nice. And these guys were fantastic. Treated my wife and I like we were old friends. They were polite, professional, and so very meticulous. The work that they did in making everything fit in that closet... a thing of beauty I tell you. This is the kind of people you want installing your new equipment ... Joe and Danny took great care to keep things clean as they worked and were constantly checking in with us to make sure we knew how things were progressing. When they left the house was clean and COLD!

Before the job was completely done Ben came back to the house to insure that everything was set up as he had promised us. He checked that every "i" wast dotted and "t" crossed. Made sure I was happy and even reprogrammed our thermostat to our liking. End of day Friday. End of a long work week and just before the weekend. Ben is laughing with me and kidding around. GREAT GUY!

Saturday morning of our party. Ben called just to make sure everything was working - house has to be cool for the party.

The office staff can't be left out. I have had the pleasure of speaking with Jolie to book appointments. Always happy and chipper. Very professional. I have also recently dealt with Melanie with the install. She was part of the answer in getting our system installed NEXT DAY!

All I can say is Thank you to the folks over at Extreme for making an expensive purchase painless and fun. Thank you for doing such a great job.

Check out the pics. Take note of how neat and tidy the furnace room install is... THIS IS NOT HOW THEY FOUND IT. The previous install had the gas pipes and drain pipes taking up a lot of room. Now they are all tucked in and neat.

Abraham is the best. He explained everything in detail and made the whole process a delight. I will definatly refer my friends and family.

They showed up right on time scheduled, introduced themselves then went to work . I had conversations with them throughout the day. They were very polite. Joey installed a new thermostat,.showed us the new procedure. When they were done they cleaned up everything. In my opinion the did a very professional job.

Kevin came out to service our unit and found some issues that he took care of while he was here. Very communicative and a wonderful technician. Would highly recommend

Our AC went out and they were out fast and was fixed in no time. Very professional and would definitely recommend and will use again if needed.

I’ve used Extreme Heating and Air ever since they installed my original furnace. Been using them for regular maintenance and they have a great service program. Today’s experience was excellent as the the technician, Sherrod, was friendly, professional and very nice to work with.

I now have them servicing my daughters HVAC as I trust what they do.

William, Kyle, and Logan performed air duct cleaning services for us and did a great job. They completely explained the methods used, described all build-up or blockages they were finding, and thoroughly performed the cleaning work as described. Nice job guys! Kevin performed system maintenance a day earlier and replaced needed furnace components. Appreciate this team's professionalism and courtesy!

Amazing group of guys. Cannot say enough about them. Every single one that has to come help us was timely, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and amazing. KEEP UP THE SUPERB WORK GUYS!!!!!!!!!

Curtis and Kaleb came to my home to take care of my insulation. They worked hard in some incredibly cold temperatures to get the job done for me only a few days after I made the request. They took photos of the work as well (which should be emailed to me shortly) and were very kind and courteous like all of the employees I've dealt with from Extreme. This company does quality work at great prices and they get out to you very quickly. Thanks guys!

Update:
I've had Extreme workers out a few more times over the years. Matt has been out a few times now. Never have they suggested I buy an entire new unit. They've always brought tools and have been able to fix the problems for a very reasonable price. The workers are kind & knowledgeable. They're also very friendly to my dog, which is a huge plus. If I have any issues with heating & air, these are the people I trust.

Knowledgeable installers and repairmen. Prompt, friendly and respectful. Over several days I met Abraham, Kevin, Joe, Cole and Andrew. I would highly recommend this business.
