Darrell was the lead plumber on our job. He was professional in all aspects of his work. He was an effective communicator throughout the Instalation of the Tankless Hot Water heater to replace a very old and contaminated tank hot water heater. He also installed a washing machine hook up and plumbed the drain into a challenging 1955 Cast iron waste line. He kept his wok area clean and neat in the midst of our renovation work to refinish all of the hard wood floors and paint the entire interior. He cleaned up his work area and in the crawl space as well. This is exceptional for plumbers based on my life long experience.
Derek did the estimate on the work and was was timely and clear with the whole process. The scheduling and billing folks I interacted with on the phone were friendly and helpful. I will recommend this company to anyone who asks for someone to do plumbing work.

Bud Matthews plumber came to replace our water heater. At first they quoted us 3x the cost of a new water heater which we purchased on our own. The plumber cut a notch in our floor joist and nicked the electrical wire. Then proceeded to use only electrical tape for the electrical connections instead of wire nuts. Moreover, he lied about the notch to his supervisors.
We lost hot water less than 2 weeks later and the faulty connection was discovered by another plumbing service.
When I brought this to the attention of Bud Matthews, I received a phone call apologizing and offering to reimburse us for the cost of the repair service as well as refunding the original labor to replace the water heater.
That was 5 weeks ago. The check has yet to arrive. The mail might have been busy over the holidays, but not this slow. We contacted them two weeks after our initial conversation and have not received a reply.
TLDR: Unprofessional and doesn’t follow through. Don’t bother.

We called Bud Matthews to remove our old junky kitchen faucet and install a nice new one. Scott, their plumber did a great job! He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer our questions. He arrived on time and left everything nice and neat. We really enjoy the new faucet and will not hesitate to call Bud Matthews services again.

Matt and Scott did an outstanding job installing two toilets for us. They were on time, quick, thorough and very professional. I will have these two men back to do plumbing work for me anytime.

Another excellent experience with Bud Matthews and team! We had an emergency issue with our water heater. Everyone was wonderful from Fred and Tim who showed up to trouble shoot and give us a quote, to Darryl and Matt who were there in a day to replace our tankless water heater perfectly. Everyone was on time, helpful and professional. The team is always so knowledgeable and nice. Highly recommend this small, local business! Will be using them for additional work around the house.

Incredibly fast and efficient service. Called about the hot water heater, they showed up the next day when they said they would, easily diagnosed the problem and fixed it within a couple of hours. Maybe a bit expensive but good quality work. Darrell helped us out and did a great job.

BMS was the only one of four companies I called who could actually show up the afternoon I needed them. Darryl and Matt showed up at the beginning of the time window, found the problem, replaced the pump, and put back all the paint cans and stuff they had to move to get to it. They were also very courteous.

They installed a heat pump hybrid water heater for us. Darrell was great. Communicative, on time, professional.

As usual, Bud Matthews was GREAT! I got scheduled quickly. Paul was a bit early, jumped right in and did a fantastic job with everything that needed to be done. He was super careful about some melting mess, and lugged parts outdoors to work out there. I had ordered the parts I needed in advance and everything was resolved just perfectly. Thanks Bud Matthews and Paul for once again coming through in the most professional and excellent manner!
