Neil came to fix a noise coming from our central air unit. He was honest and told us that the noise was not something that could be fixed unless we replaced the motor. He advised that we not do so until it stopped working as the noise was not detrimental to the unit working properly. He could have tried to sell us on a new motor but didnt - I appreciate that. He then cleaned and tested the unit. It is working more efficiently than ever and that annoying noise is not as noticeable. Honest, courteous, and reasonably priced.

We use Arnica for PM and service on the Luxaire HVAC in our home. They are responsive and on time for service appointments. Rates are reasonable and the technicians we have interacted with are knowledgable and thorough.
Needed to replace an old central air compressor. With the help of Laurie, on the telephone, I was able to select a unit that would fit through narrow house doors and to decide on whether to replace only the compressor or switch to the non ozone depleting gas which meant replacing the coils. Never felt persuaded to do one or the other, just given the information so I could make my decision. Technician came and measured the space and confirmed the work needed to be done. Made an appointment for the installation. The two men who did the work, Neil and Pete, were terrific.They were neat, pleasant, very professional, nice to each other. Not an easy job - lots of going up and down the stairs to the basement and additional stairs to get to back yard. It's always a comfort to know that there's a reliable company to call when I run into a problem.
The company was very helpful. They fixed my old system as a temporary fix at a lower rate. We scheduled a date for a new system and it was done in one day. They are all professionals and I recommend them. Have no issues doing business with them in the future.

Originally we had a 12-5pm appointment window - partway through they called to extend the window to 6pm.
Now it's 8:20pm, and we haven't heard from them, and they haven't answered any of our multiple calls.
Short of someone having died, it's hard to imagine a valid reason for this kind of neglect. Feels odd to be the first negative review, but if they can't even be bothered to communicate...
[EDIT: Updated to 3 stars. They did finally call at 8:30pm and showed up around 9:30pm. The technician was quick and friendly and all went smoothly thereafter. Still a frustrating day, but they took care of it in the end. ]
