Maintenance appointment resulted in my AC unit broken. My AC worked yesterday. Princeton Air offered to set up sales appointment for the unit replacement. Of course that’s an expensive way to fix the problem. This is not what I would expect from the maintenance appointment. After calling the office, I was offered to have my call transferred to someone who can schedule another technician coming to take a look for a repair fee. All I could do was leave a voice mail. No one from the technical team was available to talk to me.

Would rate 0 if the option was available. Very unprofessional experience so far. I accepted an estimate with Princeton Air to upgrade an air filtration system for my HVAC. It’s been over 2 weeks , have left multiple voicemails and text messages but unable to reach anyone to schedule the install. The least I expected is a courtesy call or text even if they are backed up and delayed.

Turns out. My house can’t handle central air which they happily installed for lots of money. Just found this out today because it’s written on an invoice!
Charged for many service calls because ac wasn’t working. Blamed me for not changing the filter and made up stuff. Really rude customer service and lack of
Responsiveness. Two inspectors
Coming in a few days and I have filed a small
Claim in court.

Price of what they are offering is way higher than other companies with the same credentials. I would 100% shop around you can get a better price with another company. I was quoted for a furnace and condenser unit and their lowest price was 16k i was able to get a company to do the same job for 8K. Hope this helps someone from overpaying for their unit.

Called at 8:10 AM got a service window of between 10AM and 2Pm. Confirmed by text. Service text called at 9:50 that he was on his way. 15 minutes later he was working on the air conditioning outside. Diagnosis of unit needed a capacitor and by 11AM unit was working !

Justin was the best technician to have visited our house. Extremely proficient and professional, but what sets him head and shoulders above others was his friendly and open way of explaining the system. I never felt like I was bothering with my beginner level questions and 10 minutes with Justin was much more helpful than hours of "Youtube-University" learning about heater systems and their troubleshooting and maintenance. Looking forward to learning the ins and outs of air conditioner maintenance in the spring with Justin. Thanks!
