This was our first, one of two, annual inspections with Princeton Air. Brendan was the person that came to our house. He was extremely kind and professional (and loved our pups). He didn't waste time, but did what he had to do. The only thing was the office person told me he'd be there between 8AM and 9AM and he showed around 9:30. Not sure if that was his doing or their error. Overall nice job.

When we first contacted Princeton air 5 years ago we had great techs, who were courteous and professional. One of those guys is in management and the other is no longer with the company. The technician they have sent the past two times for our geothermal unit has been less than satisfactory. This time Marty came checked the unit and there were problems. Instead of waiting around to give me the information I needed about the unit he left. I had to find out what was wrong with the unit by reading the emails with the invoices. That shouldn’t be the way it is especially with the issues that are involved with our unit. If we continue to have Marty service our unit we will no longer be using a Princeton Air

The technician Will was very courteous and prompt. He answered all my questions and walked me through exactly what he was doing. He gave me no-nonsense answers and afterward I felt more confident about the heater being able serve us during the winter months.
I did not check the "Good quality" item because Princeton Air is expensive and sometimes defaults to expensive part replacement instead of simpler repairs, but that was not the case with this visit.

My technician, Francis, was very polite and knowledgeable. He was able to troubleshoot the AC system and get it running again. I already had another company out and they weren't able to do anything. Francis to the rescue!! Overall a good experience. Would recommend this company to others.

Seasonal A/C checkout. Tech arrived on time - with an email and text 20 min before. Arrived masked and put on shoe booties. Checked system inside and outside. Then hosed the coils clean. Very polite, professional and answered my questions in detail. Princeton Air installed the system and has maintained it since installed. Very happy with this company

Called because I am new to heat pumps and it was making a loud noise outside. Technician explained to me it was a high pressure low pressure equalization when you turn on unit

I have a SANYO HVAC ductless heating system that broke down after 10 years. I called many places to see if they service SANYO, all said they did not, because SANYO had been sold and no longer produced units. I called Princeton Air, and was told that they DO service SANYO. I set up an appointment for a diagnosis, and arranged to be off work.

The tech Marty showed up, and told me that he does NOT service SANYO. So I told him that when I set up the appointment, the person told me they DO service SANYO. He said this to me: "They will say anything to book the appointment."

"What?"

He then told me regardless of what happens there is going to be a house call charge of $100. I told him I didn't feel comfortable paying it, and he shrugged his shoulders.

I now get an invoice from Princeton Air every week by email. I called FOUR times to talk to someone to get this resolved, and emailed them to call me to resolve this. No response for months.

4 months later, I finally get a call from them. The woman asked me to pay. When I told her my story, she said they DO service SANYO, and she doubts I'm telling the truth about what the service tech said. I don't like to complain over $100, but it is the principal of this exchange that has pushed me to write this.

I feel tricked into booking an appointment fee that gave me no diagnosis, and then I feel upset that they said they didn't believe me about the interaction with their employee.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

The princeton air team from the get go have been very efficient, courteous and responsive. Their pricing is competitive. Work quality is excellent. They even put window AC units until the central AC was installed.

I've had mixed experience with Princeton Air. We bought our house ~18 years ago. Previous owner had Princeton Air for HVAC needs so we kept it going. They were always very professional and punctual. Then mid 2010's things started to break down. We ended up using Princeton Air to replace pretty much all pieces (furnace, blower, indoor evaporator coil, new zone control and dampers, condensate pump, full outside AC unit - everything but the ducts!). Now we have nothing but problems with the AC in the summer. Every summer we spend some time either without AC or with an extremely poorly working AC (for example it's 80 in our house this morning even though thermostats are set to 70). They can't figure out the issues. "It's your damper system" , "we need a new coil", "need a new blower", "bad connection", "turn off the AC to let the coil unfreeze". Multiple techs have said that "if this doesn't work, we'll get a Lennox engineer involved". Well Princeton Air has been out to my house multiple times every summer (2x in just the last week) to work on my system. I've been reminding them to get a Lennox engineer involved but now they say because of Covid, Lennox engineers won't come. Ok, at least contact Lennox for guidance. Called again yesterday because it was 80 in the house and told that the next appointment is 1 week out but I could get someone after-hours which would cost me "after hours prices". Last week I wanted to speak to the service manager and received his vmail. I left a very frustrated sounding vmail even saying that I would call Lennox myself AND leave an honest (not positive) Google review. It's been over a week and I still have not heard back from him. I just want them to admit they don't know how to fix what they installed and get a Lennox engineer involved to fix it ... and not on my dime! Although the technicians are friendly and courteous, I could never recommend Princeton Air after what I've been through the past handful of years.

Update 9/16: Princeton Air was finally here a few weeks ago with a Lennox engineer who reviewed the system, took measurements, etc. The Lennox guy went back to do analysis and shared results with PA. I couldn't find out directly. PA is over today to install their (Lennox) recommendations. They've been here all day rebuilding the venting "the way it should have been done" as one of them said. We'll see how it goes.

Jim was very punctual and knowledgeable about his products and offers. Really gave an insight into the right system for my house. He was very professional. I am looking forward to hearing from Princeton air regarding quotation for our work.

Thanks Jim.
