    Repair technician Pelipe Molina was polite, efficient and professional. He got the repair done in record time. Standard Heating and Air has been a reliable service company for me for years. They have helped save me money, which as a poor widow living on a fixed income really helps a lot.

    Great job with DuctWork Express. They helped me with the measurements of the supply and return air duct work on my air conditioner replacement project. The work was priced right and had quick turn around time. They gave great advice on the installation which made it a breeze.

    Their service is overall good, however, their pricing is out of control. My entire system was under warranty, which was great, however, the labor costs are outrageous! They charge over $100.00 per hour in labor and I have to say, their techs don't work that fast and take phone calls in the process at the homeowners cost. I wouldn't recommend these guys based on the fact that their labor costs are where they gouge you. The part (covered under warranty) was $198.00 and the labor was over $430.00 for 3 hours worth of work. When I contacted management to dispute the charges, their excuses were all based around how great their guys are trained and the fact that they stock parts in-house and have a lot of overhead that they have to pass on to the customer...What's interesting is the part they ordered for my system had to be tracked down by a local supplier..it was clearly not in the warehouse at Standard Heating & Airconditioning..which I called out the manager on, stating that the technician told me where it was coming from (a local supplier), which he agreed and had some story about having one emergency part in reserve that they used on my system...not buying it! BEWARE! This company also offers a service plan for approx $13.00 per month where you'll get two annual inspections (truly valued at less than $60.00 each) and 15% off parts and labor, which I was told by a former employee that they actually add in 15% to those customers on their monthly program. before they take off the 15% on the paperwork presented to them. Their technique is simple...The technician gets the prices via cell phone as he's calling in the parts. The office looks up the customer and sees that they'll get 15% off via "the agreement/plan" so they'll add it in, then take it off on the final number which is presented to the consumer. Their service is great, but only use them in a bind and expect to pay hefty prices on labor...even if part(s) are still under warranty.

    For the first time using Standard H&A it was a great overall experience. Unfortunately, we don’t remember the technicians name but he was great. Feel very good about what we purchased. Thank you for helping make our experience a good one.

    My wife and I just had a furnace and heat pump replacement and James Welty and his team have done an outstanding job. I recommend using James and his team. If you have any concerns, James will return your call promptly. James and his team really care which is rare these days. Thanks James.

    If I cld give 0 stars I wld. The first tech that came out sprayed my air conditioning unit down with my hose and said I needed a new filter. That's great service cost me almost $200.00 When I returned hours later my house was steaming. When I called them back, they wanted me to wait until the next day. When I refused, the receptionist was not happy but finally agreed to send a competent tech out. He was very nice and discovered the problem right away. He let me know it wld be a cheap fix---a conductor that had went out --about $40 is how much they cost. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for almost another $200! And they didn't even charge me for the service call. After a few tense calls, they knocked down the price a bit but nothing worth the trouble I went thru. They couldn't provide me with any itemization of their bill (I wanted to post the breakdown), so I called other places to see how much that service wld normally cost. Every place I called said the same thing. It is a super easy fix that jumps out to any tech bc when the conductors go out they swell and it sticks out like a sore thumb. They also said that with the service call fee, labor and parts, it will cost around $200. So long in short, if you want to pay double, be inconvenienced all day and night long, and then after you get your bill, spend a couple days on the phone fighting it....call these guys, they are experts!

    They don’t try to work with repeat customers. Had an appointment for today took of work and they said it was Monday. My calendar showed it today so I suspect they got too busy and couldn’t come. They also ask for credit card info up front. Shady business practices. I would trust them.

    The entire staff from Jodi DuRee, James, and the two tech's that installed our heating and cooling systems over achieved our expectations. They even offered to install a programmable thermostat at no charge to us.
    All I can say that they met way beyond our expectations! I have never received such terrific, professional service in my life as I have from Standard Heating and Air.
    I have referred them to a neighbor whose furnace quit working, they could have try and sell them a new system, but told them it just ended a clean up.
    This company is also very ethical .
