Very impressed and appreciative of Lee's determination to get us not only a new, better unit, but a good deal on one too!! He came out to my house the same day I called and sat down with me to explain the units and costs. Lee also called several times to make sure I didn't need anything during the insurance claim and then adjusted the cost again to help me meet my deductible. The installer that came out was very nice, explained everything, and even helped me try to track down a spider that was stalking me! Overall, one of the best experiences I've had with outside sales and installation ever!
We were having problems with our furnace this last winter. I called in to set up a service call in February 16, 2015. I gave them our business name, billing address, my name, phone number as well as property address. They had someone come out that day to address the issue. They called me when they were there to tell me of their findings.
I Received a Phone call 2 1/2 months later from Kelly at Standard. She was VERY rude. She started in saying that i was a tough person to find. I asked her the billing address as well as the phone number they had on file. None of which was correct. It was not even our business name. She also said that my account is past due and "that we need to take care of this right away before she sends it to collections."
They sent me my first and only bill (total bill was $88.00) which was postmarked 5-8-15. I paid it with in the 30 day payment period. Kelly from Standard was also calling me 1-2 times a week saying that we "have an open invoice that is past due". Keep in mind i was still with in my 30 day payment period and they were calling to receive payment.
I called Kelly today to inform her to stop calling us as everything was paid up as well as to tell her how incredibly disappointed/shocked i was in her and Standard Heating and Air. I told her that if she threatens me with collections….then she interrupted me and said " i did not say i was going to report you to collections, i said i was putting this in my notes from collections." She can say what she wants to. Good thing for me I have our conversations documented as well as saved voicemail from her.
Be aware of this Shady Company. I hope this goes up the chain so they know how this company is actually ran.
After coming back from vacation our house was a sauna. Our AC unit was out. Standard came the next morning promptly before 3 other companies we called. Within 1 hour of the technician detecting we needed a new AC unit there was a salesman at our house and we were set up for a new unit to be installed 3 Days later. But then the great staff at Standard bumped up our installation to the following morning, and 2 days earlier than expected. Making me and my family only without AC for a very short amount of time. Standard was great and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.
Very professional service. From the initial contact for a proposal to the completion of the installation of a new furnace and air conditioner, all personnel were professional, polite, and thorough. Wyatt did an excellent and timely job of submitting a proposal and was very responsive to questions. Micah was the primary installer and treated his work as if it was for his own house. The new furnace is operating great.
Standard Hearing installed original 20 years ago but felt I needed to look around. I did, only one was close to quality and price that I looked at. One was way out there.
I choose Standard as name brand quality product, we got a 98% furnace when all I wanted was a 80--it was nearly the same price, also got a 17 SEER ac where others had a 16 for same price range.
Service was done the day we called! The motor in our ac needed to be replaced It was a 95 degree day and we had house guest in for a wedding. Thanks to such great service, we avoided having uncomfortable guests.
Our service man was professional and very polite as has been our experience with Standard!
We recently had a regularly scheduled systems check which Standard does for us bi-annually. Everything went well, and Jon was extremely professional and courteous as he has been each time he has come out (he’s very good at his job!). However, some short time after he left, the a/c started making a strange noise. I wasn’t worried about it being something wrong with the system, but Jon came back out and gave it a look. It turns out a piece of paper that looked approximately like a receipt somehow got sucked into the system and was lodged in one of the fans like a playing card in bicycle spokes. He got it all squared away and it was no charge. I can’t recommend Standard enough!
I am very impressed with the customer service and expertise of Standard. During the evening our air conditioning quit. Standard was able to get someone to our house after hours (10:00pm) and quickly resolved our issue. They were professional, knowledgable and extremely helpful. We will now be using them for all our heating and cooling needs!
Love these guy's!!!!! I called Standard up to schedule a maintenance check on my furnace because it wasn't holding the heat! Dave came to the rescue and hooked me up with a new thermostat and looked over the heating unit. The whole thing was reasonably priced!! Totally recommend Standard Heating and Air!!
I had very positive experience with standard. They were able to immediately identify the issue and fix it for a very reasonable charge.There was another company who wanted to charge me 3 times that and told me to replace HVAC
