Buyer beware! We purchased a new air conditioner from them many years ago and have not had an issue with it until this Sunday. On Tuesday I called and told them I needed service, Mary the lady that took my call questioned why I would call them when there was probably another company closer to me. I was annoyed with her approach but it was over 90 degrees and I'm sure the calls for service were extreme. She made an appointment for my service call for Friday, June 1. I cleared my schedule to sit home for my appointment. Today, Thursday after 2:00pm Mary called me to refer another company, someone closer to Farmington Hills. It wasn't to far to come when we purchased the unit from you, but now you don't want to be bothered with a service call for repairs. Shame on R & L for your poor customer service!

Replaced both furnace and AC. Efficient, professional crew, didn't waste any time, came fully prepared and banged the job out faster than I would have believed. Easily answered my questions, didn't try to upsell me. Highly recommend for any HVAC work.

My A/C unexpectedly stopped running yesterday afternoon. I called and they were able to fit me in on Friday morning, thank goodness. It always seems like one of the hottest days of the year when something like this happens. Customer Service is KEY to any business succeeding and this company deserves to SUCCEED. The personnel are all very pleasant and very helpful. Mary and Alan were very sympathetic to my concerns and assisted with getting the Technician scheduled to take a look at my A/C. Mike came out to diagnose the problem and determined it was only a fuse that needed replacing. So thankful it wasn't anything major for sure. I will recommend this company to my friends and family.

Had service contract and needed AC addressed due to not cooling. The office lady, Mary, very rude, gave our appointment slot away because my wife, who stayed home to wait on an appointment scheduled for "the afternoon around 3pm" , didn't answer the phone when she was on a work phone call. She called them back twenty minutes later to learn they had given our time slot awy, and wanted to come the next day in the morning, in conflict with a previously scheduled doctors appointment. Because of the doctors appointment, they moved the appointment to the afternoon, after asking her to troubleshoot equipment on the phone. Once they learned they didn't install the duct work and only the furnace and AC unit, they were very confrontational as to what help they may be able to offer and that we should go back to the company who installed it, which is now out of business. I asked her why they didn't want to service my Honeywell controlled equipment, and it was because they didn't install it. The service contract was inquired about and the office lady, Mary, said we will just send you your money back.

Company doesn't want to touch anything they don't install, and looks for something they didn't install to blame the fault on, especially a wifi thermostat.

I really liked this company other than service calls, such a seasonal startup visits. When needed, per the agreement they sold, they were less than helpful and rude.

This company was the worst experience. The technician falsified his records stating that I said the price was too high and that I was going to be serviced by someplace else. When really I told him the service wasn't good. Then he came out again... but with the wrong part. He left and I didn't hear anything from him, had to call the business for an an update. Very unprofessional. I don't recommend.

When I called for a consultation, we had one within 30 minutes. He was very upfront and professional. When we had the ac and furnace installed, the crew was respectful, efficient, and very clean.
