We had a leaking internal gas line. Opening up the walls to identify and patch the leak, if possible at all, would have been both very expensive and disruptive. Gene the tech came up with a simpler, cheaper and safer alternative of running a new line externally. The quality of advice, work, and customer service was exceptional. Thomas E Clark already service our HVAC and boiler etc, and we are constantly impressed with the professionalism of everyone we have worked with.

Thomas E Clark is our go-to plumber and HVAC service company. They replaced our AC, have maintained our aging furnace and dealt quickly with a few plumbing issues. Easy to work with - from making an appt to speaking in-depth with the service tech during a visit. Probably not the cheapest, but reasonable and for our family, worth the money for extremely professional and thorough service. Highly recommend.

Efren was very informative. He took the time to truly explain everything to me along with pricing so there were no surprises. He answered all questions related to my present plumbing job as well as my future needs. After replacing my garbage disposal and fixing another plumbing issue, he cleaned up everything. I have been a Thomas E Clark customer for many years and they always do superb service. I will definitely request Efren again.

We have been using Thomas Clark Plumbing since we lived in a co-op in DC in the 1980s. They have a deep understanding of older homes in the DC area. Our most recent experience was to have them replace a defective (obsolete) shut-off for the water supply line to our failing refrigerator ice maker. I called them in mid afternoon and had a plumber at my door by 4:00 pm that day. The plumber was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He replaced the shut-off in less than a half hour and saved me from a flooded kitchen! They're the best!

Great company to work with. They are professional and my technician(Efren) explained everything he did and showed my why the valves had failed under the kitchen sink. He pointed out other areas of concern to be handled when he returns. I will not use anyone else for plumbing and HVAC needs.

We called after being referred to them by a friend. We had a flood in our basement and needed emergency service. The plumber arrived within an hour and a half of our call; very professional, quick diagnosis of the problem and quick repair at a very reasonable price. Very pleased!!

I called on a Sunday night with an important but not urgent issue (leaking under kitchen sink), was able to leave a message with an answering service, and got a callback that night scheduling a visit for the next day. The plumber arrived on schedule, diagnosed the problem readily, stopped the leak and fixed the situation for the most part that day, and returned on schedule the next day with an additional small part that was required, installing that part quickly. Service was professional, prompt, and while not cheap, seemed reasonable in cost for the work that was done and the good result.

We needed a new, dependable toilet before house guests were due to arrive. We thought it would be a drawn out process, but Deven from Clark Plumbing arrived and had us fixed up in a couple of hours.

I hate water problems. However, with the two instances I have had using Thomas E Clark to fix them, the experience has been nothing short of excellent. Honestly, from prompt response to courteous and knowledgeable technicians plus quality work how can you go wrong. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
