My water pipes froze and broke in multiple places and I had to shut off my water. After getting a quote for $9,000 from a competitor, I was hysterical wondering if I would ever get water and how. Coming up with $9,000 was about as likely for me as winning the lottery since I live just above paycheck to paycheck. I called Golden Rule for another estimate out of desperation and am so glad I did. Not only did they get me an appointment the same day…but came out within two hours of my call. The service technician was extremely friendly, patient and for the same repair, the figure they gave me was less than half the other company was going to charge me! That was saving me almost $4,000!! The technician was so patient and helpful getting me financing for the repair. After the competitor’s quote, I was in tears and felt hopeless. What was no less than a nightmare for me was made into a doable situation. I can’t say how thankful I am for them and the wonderful company and technician that literally made it possible to not end up living without water for probably a very long time. You were my hero’s today!!

Spent $1500 on a leaking shower head and broken tub drain. Time spent on project was 4 hours - 1 person -- total rip-off!

Interesting that Golden Rule said they would reach out to me regarding my review. I left my name/cell number to them 3 days ago and have heard nothing back. Do not trust Golden Rule -- they talk "values" and then rip you off in the end. Avoid them at all cost.

Ripped Me off. Almost $1,000.00 to reset two toilets and replace the inside of one toilet. About Two hours work total. I would NEVER in good conscious be able to suggest to anyone. I personally think their motto should be "Do onto others before they do unto .You." I know several other including me They always seem to say the Furnace is shot. They did do a good job of installing My new Furnace but from that point on "User be ware."

Do not use. I was scheduled for a service in the morning so I took the day off from work, I was called by the office at the end of the window they were supposed to be there letting me know they were running late. By 4pm no one arrived and no phone call. I called and was told they weren’t going to make it. They said they were very sorry and would reschedule for any day I want, so I rescheduled. The day I rescheduled I was leaving work and checked my phone and noticed they had called, so I called them back (this was 40 minutes before my scheduled time). They told me since I didn’t answer my phone they sent the service tech to another location. I got mad at this point and let them know it and hung up. After cooling down I tried to call them back to reschedule again and they wouldn’t answer my calls.
