Ray's Heating & Air Conditioning

They installed an A/C unit in my home and refuse to service it with no explanation. A+ Derrs came and did a great job fixing it, and also looked up my equipment that Ray's didn't even register which cost me 5 yrs of warranty. Absolutely terrible business, poor customer service, and ridiculously bad service overall.

After a construction accident on our street our A/C didn't work. I called Ray's. Chad came out after hours to check our A/C unit. He informed us that we only had 110 power to the house instead of 220 as it was supposed to be and if we had 220 the A/C would work. He was right, Centerpoint came out and fixed the 220 and the air conditioner works.

My air conditioner went out right before it started getting too hot. So my Dad recommended Ray's heating & air because he has been a customer of theirs for a long time. And I called and the response time was fast. Needed a new ac unit so I figured why not go ahead and get a new furnace too because it had given me problems last year. The guys were all super professional and super nice. I highly highly recommend this company . I now have a high efficiency ac/heater unit and am thrilled about it! A huge thank you to everyone at Ray's heating & air. Summer is very pleasant now.

Edit July 2022: The system still runs great. Had a minor repair on a very hot day. Ray's came through again. I continue to highly recommend Ray's!

It was time to replace my 10 year old Carrier system. It was dumping copious amounts of water into my basement. It was also clearly not sized right for my home because it struggled to keep the house cool on a hot day. Moose Lewis (who installed the system) could not fix it in seven service visits.
I asked around for recommendation. Ray's came highly recommended. I asked them for a quote and got a new system installed a couple weeks later.
I now had the system for almost a year. It has the capacity to keep me cool even on a hot day. It is whispering quiet compared to the old unit. And best of all, due to the high efficiency, I have saved about $400 in Vectren bills so far...
I can recommend Ray's to everyone.

Ray's installed our 18 year old unit originally. Called after the AC quit blowing cold air. Guy hooked up his equipment and said the freon was out and the system was too old to refill. Gave us a quote for a new system. Received a $130 bill - including a $44 'labor' charge - to tell me my system was defunct. Went with Perfection instead.

Rays has been my regular maintenance company for 3 years and never try to sell me things I don’t need. They are courteous and friendly, always on time and get the job done quickly. I am very happy with their service. That said They also installed this year a new furnace and ac. It was the easiest install of all the contractors I have worked with over the years at a great price. GREAT JOB RAY’S. I would definitely recommend Ray’s for all your heating and ac needs!

We at Town and Country mobile homes use Ray’s heating and air exclusively, due to the fact we receive great service, fast response time and very reasonably priced products. All of the people we deal with from whoever answers the phone in their office to the owners in-person looking at what we need, down to the technicians doing the installation. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They finished the jobs quickly and on time, and clean up after themselves. You feel you get value for your money. We would not go anywhere else other than Ray’s for our heat and air needs.

Rays did a great job installing my new AC unit. They came out on a service call with my American Home Shield Warranty when our AC wasn’t blowing cold. They called the warranty company and the next thing I know I was getting a new unit. The crew is very courteous and friendly. They are also respectful of your property. They took their shoes off every time they entered our home. We highly recommend Ray’s. Thanks guys!

We have had the opportunity to employ Rays Heating and Air for almost 30 years. The light blue highlighted descriptions all apply for any service that you might need. They can always figure out your issue in a cost effective manner as well as fix it once they know. We have had many, many repairs done on our previous furnace and air and decided we were going to replace our furnace and air conditioner with high efficiency units. Ours happen to be in a very large laundry room in our walk out basement. In order to make the install work correctly as well as efficiently as possible a great deal more work was needed in order to also make the extra pipes ran be ascetically appealing.. Their install specialist came out a few days prior to the install and spoke with us as to changes needed, discussed placement of the new pipes etc. He took pictures and made rough draft drawings so his team would understand exactly the work to be done. By taking the time to do this his installation team knew exactly what was needed to be done and they worked as a team getting out all the old and installing all the new. The quality of their work was outstanding and we could not be happier. Great value for our money. Plus we know from using their company for so many years that should we have a need they would be responsive to our concerns and punctual on time selected. They even take the time to call you when they are on their way to your home.
I will be honest and say that when we wanted to purchase those two new units we did not even call any other company for price comparison because over the years they have earned our loyalty By being loyal to us and always taking care of our needs. We are extremely pleased with the way everything was handled and will continue as we have over the years referring them to anyone in need of these type services.
