Integrity Heating & Cooling

We recently had Integrity Heating and Cooling come out and replace our furnace, ac and hot water heater. We had an issue with a carbon monoxide leak in our home and needed to address the issue with our furnace immediately. I called the company at 7:20 am one morning and the sales representative was at our home by 11:30 am that day. Jason was wonderful. He took the time to explain everything to us and the differences in the various products he offered. My husband and I asked many questions and Jason was polite, thorough and patient. We had received other quotes and Integrity's quote was far and away (by several thousand dollars) the best one we received and we were receiving a superior product. They came the next day to install the unit with no additional rush fee (that other companies wanted to charge us). The installers were wonderful. The were clean, polite and quiet. We didn't even know they were there. It was a large job and the install took the entire day (about 12 hours) and my husband and I never saw the workers taking a break or sitting around. They worked hard to ensure we had our furnace up and running as soon as possible. Within 36 hours we had called, set up the estimate, purchased and had our new furnace, ac and hot water heater installed. We could not have been more pleased with Integrity at every step of the process. I would use this company without hesitation again. We highly recommend them!

2022 Edit: Signed up for their yearly maintenance service in December 2021. Needed a new furnace two weeks later. I gave "Integrity" first shot but they didn't have the unit I wanted in stock. I had to purchase the unit from their competition. When I asked for a refund for the maintenance plan I couldn't use now I was flatly denied.

Not the answer I expected but it let me know to warn everyone this company lacks the so called Integrity their name implies. Buyer beware!

Aaron was friendly however he took the liberty of ripping a piece of my dryer vent off without consulting me first. When I asked if he completed the water tank flush he gave me an excuse that the faucet was stuck. When I pressed him on it he went out to his truck and got the hose. I followed him down to the water tank and, guess what, the faucet opened and it drained with no problem.

These guys are great! Our AC went out in the midst of 90 degree heat. They were there the next day after we called. Gave us a straightforward assessment and let us know options to allow us to make the best decision for us. We will continue to use Integrity going forward. Also, our technician, John R., is fantastic!!

The technician, Dennis Viernum, was really good. Explained the problem and the charges very clearly.

Poor value: for a 40 mins job of replacing an igniter that costs $22 on Amazon, they charged me $518!! Apparently this was their preferred member rates.

The customer service is very poor, based on my current and past interactions. The girl was trying to press non member rates because I had canceled the member for next year. I had to tell her that the membership is still valid for this year. Then she agreed. When I asked her to explain the charges, she said - parts at cost, no charge for labor and 50% off service charge. When I said that service equals parts + labor, so what is the additional service charge that was referring to, she just said that it is the cost to repair. Then I explained that repair is same as service, but kept repeating herself. She was not willing to transfer the call to her supervisor and I could sense that she was getting irritated to the extent that I was uncomfortable in pushing her further.

I am happy that I canceled the membership. As I member I expect transparency on the fees and a decent treatment from the company.

Our AC went out during the hot streak in the Midwest. I called and left a message Sunday while they were closed. I received a call back from Integrity at 7:40 AM and scheduled the appointment for 1 PM. Prior to the technician arrival, they texted that he was on the way and again with a photo of him and his name. All so professional! Outstanding company to work with!

This popped up for me to review I haven't been here since 2017 and I would never go back. They installed my ac and heating. The install team did not respect my wishes for no smoking on our property due to asthma issues. I signed up for their maintenance plan when he had issues they were impossible to get a hold of. When they finally called back I cancelled the plan got my money refunded. I complained about the guy smoking and they said they fired him for it.
If you choose them hopefully their service has improved.

When our A/C unit went out, I had a few estimates from other companies but was referred to Integrity from my dad and was thoroughly impressed with their promptness and integrity to their work. I also needed new ductwork, a damper, and a new furnace and went with Integrity as well. Their home service warranty is 1000% worth it and will be a continued member for a long time and would hope others would switch to see for themselves.

When our other furnace went out, they were able to come out within 24 hours, serviced it, saw that we needed a new one and was able to install a brand new furnace within 1 hour. Exceptional service!

Integrity was easy to reach, they responded quickly with an appointment for service and the repair person was professional. They arrived on time and sent picture of the repairman. We have not used our AC yet because it has been cool since they were hear but we would highly recommend this company

Integrity Heating and Cooling sent a service tech out a week ago at the time of this review. We are part of their membership program, which is $300 a year. This membership program offers "discounts" for customers. I was charged $121 dollars in addition to the membership to refill the A.C. with coolant. I was told be the tech that the AC and furnace were both totally fine and working properly. This was 8/25/20. One week after the service and after one day of AC usage, our AC is not working. Upon calling their service department, I was told I would have to pay $100 for a service tech to come out and look at the AC. This $100 is part of the membership "discount", as I would usually have to pay $150. Other HVAC companies in the south suburbs charge half this fee, which is still less then the discount I get with their membership program. Their membership program is a poor value and there is no integrity in overcharging loyal customers. 2 years of membership, service tune-up, and another service schedule adds up to $821. There are other HVAC companies that in the Chicagoland area that perform better services at half the price. Will not be using "Integrity" Heating and Cooling ever again.

I am writing this review a year after I got my furnace and air conditioner replaced by Integrity. I waited before writing my review to make sure everything stay as top notch as possible.

The sales rep came to my home and didn't try to sell me a system that was too much for my house. Others did that to me. He gave me a great price for the system and was very professional. We came to an agreement and the system was installed within the week.

The installers were incredible too. Almost didn't know they were there. No mess was left anywhere in my house. System has been running great for the year. This week, I will be having my cleaning, which they called me to schedule. Always a good reminder for that!

I would definitely go back to them for a furnace/air conditioner (Hopefully not soon, since I have a new system). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
