They were very responsive - I had a tech out in under two hours from my initial call. He was very professional, explained the issue with pictures of the faulty part, and had it fixed within an hour of stepping in the door. Pricing was completely transparent and seemed fair. Would absolutely recommend.
What can I say, another great experience with G & R. I called because I had no heat and they were able to send a tech within 2 hours!! My technician Rob texted me to let me know that he was on the way. When he arrived he was friendly and professional. He was able to determine the problem rightly away, the filter. I changed it the day before but the old one was pretty dirty which he said triggered the system to shut off. He got the system up and running and I will order new filters (cheaper ones for better air flow) and change them monthly per his recommendation. He was so kind, very knowledgeable about his work and was so personable. I would highly recommend G & R Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone.
Technician tried his best to upsell me. Told me I needed to spend over $300 on a new thermostat when my current one was just out of batteries. The experience was straight up uncomfortable and I had to chase down the company for a response to my formal complaint. Wouldn't risk it again.
Responding to below: Yes, no new thermostat was installed - the technician TRIED to upsell me. The first thing he asked me was whether I changed the batteries, but he must have immediately regretted asking this because while I was searching the house for new batteries he was already trying to convince me to just get a new thermostat altogether. He pretended he tried new batteries in the old one and when I clocked it, I had to put new ones in myself and tell him I wanted to wait longer to see if it all kicks back on. It did, despite his professional opinion. I told your staff this twice.
Outside AC unit became home to mice. There was some early confusion concerning the appointment but it was quickly corrected. They arrived earlier than the "window" suggested. Quickly, found the issue and corrected the wiring that was affected.
Would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.
Had furnace check scheduled 3 weeks ahead. They called at noon on the scheduled day and claimed someone called in sick. Who calls in at noon ?? Wasted my whole day and asked for a manager to call me. Waited all day and no response. Still waiting for a call. Beware of this business. They also missed the spring ac checkup.
Adam was ahead of schedule (!) to perform annual A/C maintenance for the warm weather season ahead...he was very flexible about my work schedule which didn't permit me to leave a Webex meeting to greet him at the door...thanks to G&R dispatcher, whom I called to advise, he very considerately performed the exterior cleaning of the A/C unit, allowing me to finish my call to enable him to then clean the indoor filter in our home. KUDOS to both Adam and G&R dispatchers for expertly working with me to get the maintenance job done without impacting our respective work schedules! G&R goes above and beyond!! THANK YOU.
Once again I called about a broken air conditioner in the middle of a heat wave!! The person that answered my call was friendly and empathetic!! And Aurelius was amazing! He showed up just as he said he would and fixed my ac! Sharp, impressive worker! Especially at a time when everyone’s ac was out!! Great company!
The tech Rob, identified the problem, then cleaned & repaired the igniter w/o using any parts. He was polite and professional and knowledgeable. Great job!
The techs have been great. The only issue with this company is they are very expensive with installs and try to sell you Champion (generic York) for way over what is a fair price. I had a few bids and this company was not even in the same ballpark. Also the sales guy tried to sell 95% efficiency for an attic which everyone would advise against. It’s unfortunate they didn’t try to spend more time with the potential customer and understanding the actual needs rather than price gouging.
