Your delivery by fedex sucks. The evaporator is on the front porch. There is no condenser Call to AC Wholesalers onnm hold long time. Eventually off hold and informed that shipment was split, part by FedEx and part by R&L Carriers . Would have been courteous to inform my of split shipment ahead of deliveries.
If I could leave a zero or negative star review I would. This company is unreliable, lies, ignores its customers and when they provide customer service, it is frustrating and absolutely useless.
They sent us a broken unit, which we discovered upon opening the box. It took hours of phone calls to get them to finally accept the return, then informed us that we would be liable for the cost of the return and any other damages that might happen while being transported back to their warehouse.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are liars who steal money from its customers.
Today my boiler was delivered. There are two issues: one with the delivery and one with the condition of the boiler.
Delivery
The truck driver (from R + L Carriers) said that I would have to pay $ 150, in order for him to use the lift gate. I told the driver that the lift gate was included in my order. He said that it was not listed in his paperwork, so he could not use it. Because my current boiler has failed, I had to help the driver lift it down onto my trailer. I am 65 years old and this was difficult for me. Nine hours later, my back is still hurting.
Condition
There is a puncture hole through the cardboard shipping container. It did dent the side of the boiler shield. I showed this to the driver, but he said that it probably would not affect the function of the boiler.
Not bad "service," considering supply chain issues in 2021-2022. Much better than my local heater repair people. They couldn't even locate the part needed (Williams fan assembly). On the other hand, it has been 5 months since I ordered it. Now (tomorrow) to see if it's the right part (looks like it is) and if the locals can install it w/o incident. Your guys manning the phone lines were very good/helpful/encouraging.
Gave 2 stars because the staff was acceptably nice but it was an unhappy overall experience for which I am partly to blame. When my hot water heater went out I went online to find one near me. As a contractor I knew what I wanted and as a husband I knew I had to get it fast. I searched for distributors in FL, where I live, so I could get it more quickly. These guys showed that their business and distribution center was in FL, about 2 hrs drive from me. They noted that they drop shipped some items from the manufacturer but implied that was noted on the listing. So I ordered figuring that I could get it in a couple days. When my notification came it was shipped from CA and the delivery date was 5 days off. Not good for me. I contacted them 24 hrs before it showed that it was actually accepted at FedEx but they told me once the paperwork was sent out they couldn't stop it. I went out and paid more for a different heater than I wanted but saved my marriage. Then submitted for a return. I had to ship it back to a place in IL instead of the FL "distribution center". So today, one hour after getting it from FedEx, I delivered it back to FedEx and paid a hefty bounty as a 45lb unit, to have it returned but they were kind enough to let me pay for shipping. I was partly to blame for not actually calling them to see where it would ship from so I take responsibility for that but it arrived significantly later than I was expecting and paying for the return was no pleasure. Take my review as it is and use it to avoid the situation I encountered.
The guy never did deliver. He called me and wanted to meet so he didn't have to drive in here and deliver to me. He asked me to meet him about 1/2 mile from my house, I agreed and waited 20 minutes and he didn't show up. Then he called and wanted to meet him at another location, 7 miles from my house. I wanted my product so I agreed and he was there and I accepted the package. Some delivery service!!
I ordered a Generac on Oct 28 and received it 12-13-21 a week ahead of schedule. They gave me a delivery window between 11am - 4pm. It arrived at 10:45. Quickest response time that I could fine. Several others were giving me a 6-12 month delivery time. They didn't charge my card until the day unit was going to be on carriers vehicle. I appreciate the quick and efficient delivery. Thanks
Ordering was easy and the company was quick to take our money. EXCEPT when a month went by an no contact. Our funds had been returned. We called only to be told there was suspicious activity with our order and the sales person who sold it to us was no longer employed. Delivery was a nightmare as well. Almost 2 months from the date ordered to date delivered with all the screw ups. After 2 scheduled deliveries with both being a no show and no one called to reschedule or apologize. I had to call repeatedly and finally threaten with legal action since their incompetence and excuses has caused a home inspection to be postponed which means our buyer can walk away. I can’t comment on the function of the unit since the installer can’t come out for 2 weeks.
LOL You must remember never to purchase stuff after midnight when you're tired. I found what I thought I was looking for, I paid, got email receipt. Next morning when I looked at the email, I realized I ordered wrong. Then I called and spoke with Brian, he canceled the wrong part and wrote a new order for the correct part, I paid the difference and now I got confirmation of it being ship. Very nice people to deal with, fast and easy.
